Everything was well-thought out and beautifully presented. Relaxed but organised feel to the place - very reassuring.

Only thing I can find to criticise was that the light over my bed was not working!

An excellent hotel - would definitely stay there again. Service extremely helpful and friendly; our room was charming and spotlessly clean; the breakfast was excellent. Conveniently close to train station, and a 15-minute stroll to town centre. Absolutely delightful place to stay.

The location was perfectly situated for me. Staff were very friendly and understanding. I loved the layout of the property and particularly the hats and antique cinema seats were very cool. My room was spacious with a knig size bed that was very comfortable.

The staff were absolutely lovely at Butlers. I arrived late evening and they were very courteous and accommodating. I had a lot of luggage with me and the staff helped me up the stairs to my room with it. The room itself was gorgeous - lovely big bed, perfect ensuite, clean, tv, hair drier - everything you needed! In the morning the breakfast was really good and when checking out the staff arranged a taxi for me. They also allowed me to keep my suitcases at the hotel for the day while I was out. Overall I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and I would definitely go back again.

Butlers is the great small hotel that made me feel like home. We got a warm welcome from the nice landlord and landlady who treat us as a family. The place has excellent decoration with style and very neat and clean. Breakfast was set up beautifully and just perfect.

Excellent very clean room and hotel, extremely confortable and well decorated. Superb location with a brief 15 minute walk to town for the shos and restaurants. Excellent choice for breakfast and woudl have no hesitation in recommending Butlers.

Everything. This is a brilliant B&B. The owners were exceptionally friendly and helpful. They offered me lots of useful advice about Cheltenham and seemed like genuinely nice people interested in ensuring their guests really enjoy their stay. My room, a studio room on the top floor, was very well appointed, had lovely decor, a very comfortable bed, kitchenette and a nice bathroom. Breakfast was absolutely excellent. I had the smoked salmon and scrambled eggs which was delicious and was as good as food as I have ever eaten in any restaurant. I can't recommend this B&B more highly.

Quirky and different with great attention to detail.Owners Robert and Guy are keen to be informative so as to maximise your enjoyment of Cheltenham.Breakfasts were really lovely! A great choice and a joy to stay there.

No criticism at all! However it would have been useful to know that there was a fridge in the room, i'd have taken some bubbly! [If it was in the details I missed it]

Excellent and attentive service. The quality of the room and breakfast were superb.

The shower was intermittent, but really not too much of a problem.

I paid for my parents to stay at Butlers, they couldn't stop talking about it. They were greeted at the door and offered a cup of tea in the front room before heading to their room. The said the owners were lovely and friendly and owned a beautiful hotel, full of butler themed items that made the hotel charming and unique. They very much enjoyed their stay and had nothing bad to say. Thank you for making their weekend that extra bit special.

We were looked after extremely well. Nothing was too much trouble. All this on top of staying in a beautiful, period property! If we return to Cheltenham, we will stay at Butlers.

We loved the original and elegant decor, the friendly and warm welcome from the owners and our very comfortable, spacious room and bathroom. Breakfast consisted of. high quality ingredients and was delicious. All aspects of service and facilities were faultless. A totally enjoyable stay. We can't wait to return!
