Excellent location overlooking rowing course. Good, easy walks to river, weir and steam railway. Very tired building - needs refurbishment and redecoration. Excellent location and good staff but overall interior made for a feeling of gloom. I would stay if "in transit" but not for holiday or more than one night at a time.

Location to town, Peterborough centre is a 1 mile walk away. You may wish to phone ahead once booking is complete if you book anything other than a double room, we have made several bookings and it's a lottery if they get your request of "twin room please". A phone call could save a lot of time when you arrive! The drinks from behind the bar can be "hit and miss", it seems to be the glass cleaner. The pub next door is nice enough to make up for this though.

We always stay at the Peterborough Ramada because of it's almost countryside feel with the rowing lake and the surrounding trees etc.It is also near to our son's family living in Peterborough. We didn't care for your latest idea when serving cooked breakfast e.g. frshly cooked eggs are brought from the kitchen buit the additional bacon etc has to be brought from the heated cabinet which unfortunately overcooks and is tasteless. This is not a complaint - just a suggestiion that you might return to your previous method.

Free wifi throughout the hotel was useful. Made to wait at reception when checking out as receptionist was absent. Breakfast assistance was poor and hurried.

the hotel had a nice veiw looking out over the boating lake and put on a great breakfast. most of the staff was freindly the room was comfortable but was in need of some decoration, the shower had very little water pressure, the hotel itself was reasonably priced but the food and drinks was very expensive. my colleague didnt get his room made or tea and coffee replenished, most of the staff was good but a couple was moody and ignorant.

Conveniently located straight off the a1 Decor in grave need of updating. Stained bathroom tiles. Spider webs in the corners. We needed to check out 4am and the overnight receptionist couldn't get our bill right

We stayed here over Christmas and it was quiet and a very peaceful - the staff are friendly and very welcoming - so we thought we'd give it another go. We'd recommend this hotel at quiet times of the year! We were in a ground floor room with window onto the car park and there was a lot of noise into the early hours. There was also intermittant noise from an undetermined source into the early hours (sounded like people dragging furniture about). It was the worst night's sleep we've had in a long time - especially at a hotel.

The check in staff were rude and did not have time for us, On check in we could understand as they had an incident to deal with, however even this I think they messed up, due I feel through lack of training. On check out we were the only people there and they were still rude and really not customer focused. however the young boy waiting on the tables in the evening was very good.

The price - at £35 it was very good value. The room was fine and better than I'd expected. But the hotel was quiet and so they may have given me a better room because no one else was staying at that time? The staff were very friendly and efficient. Also Sunderland afc beat Peterborough in the fa Cup - wonderful stay. The distance from the hotel to the city centre was more than I'd expected when looking at the map on Bookings.com. I ended up getting taxis in and out of the city centre and to the Peterborough London Road football stadium.

the staff who were very polite and helpful. The food was good. Bedrooms were very tired and dated. Two bedside lights not working,Had to turn on cold tap in the bath with a set of pliers!! Only one set of towels supplied for two people. Would not choose to stay at a Ramada Hotel again.

All staff were very helpful and certainly approachable at any time of the day with any request. The location is extremely relaxing /scenic (being set next to a rowing lake) despite being so close to the city centre . Easy to access from the a1. Ample carparking. The bathroom facilities were a little dated (but clean) and I remarked to reception that the net curtaining was frayed and stained. This is being picky about such minor details.
