Lovely location / room was very clean, warm, quiet and comfortable - even a hot water bottle was in one of the draws. I felt very home and welcome!

If you don't arrive 13:00 - 14:00 and have forgotten to ask for a different check-in time, then you might be a little in trouble and need to wait (in case no-one is in the house).

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Buxton House. Situated a couple streets away from the main road and seafront, the location was quiet and peaceful – perfect if your intention is a relaxing getaway - and it was easy to find a park on the street right outside. Nigel and Corinne where very welcoming and friendly and gave great advice on what to see and do, we ended up doing everything they suggested and always had an amazing day. We stayed in the suite for 5 nights; the room was clean and very comfortable and spacious with a separate lounge area where we were able to relax in after many hours spent walking each day. The breakfast was fantastic, my husband tried something different every day and my boiled eggs where perfect every time, I loved the added touch of the egg warmers for presentation. In the evenings they accommodated guests with takeaway food by providing a table with cutlery – this was useful since we didn’t always feel like eating out. One day we went out attempting to climb one of the areas mountains [Tryfan] when the weather turned and we got soaked through. We left our clothes hanging in the room to dry out the following day and upon our return Corinne had kindly dried them for us in her dryer! We thought it was a really nice gesture. We had a wonderful time here and will definitely be recommending it to our friends and family as a great place to base themselves to explore North Wales.

No parking, trying to find a parking spot on the road near to the house. Small price to pay and would not stop me re booking.

This was our second stay at Buxton House and we were not disappointed, the welcome was warm as ever and the room was lovely and cosy.

Can't think of anything to dislike.

Very welcoming , immaculately clean and a good cooked breakfast with lots of choice , the room was comfortable , warm and clean. the owner was very nice ,helpful and organized Good value , would stay again Very quiet at night

Great couple running it who were keen to talk to guests about the area and the social history.

Very impressed with the friendly owners who always asked us our daily schedule and made useful suggestions about local eateries and places of interest. Breakfast choices were many and well cooked with fruit and various cereals on offer as well.Buses were only a 2 minute walk away if not car owners and the rail station was in walking distance.Close enough to the seafront and shops but able to park on street as most of the town has very little space.

Nothing except a personal preference for uncluttered rooms and many ornaments were in evidence

Very friendly and professional staff. Excellent breakfast. Very clean and comfortable room. In our opinion was good value for money.

a truly excellent place to stay - it is very homely and EVERYTHING is as one would wish - truly nothing could be faulted. The hosts Nicky and Corinne were very welcoming and the breakfast was an excellent starter for the day ahead. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

It was clean, comfortable, beautiful room

The fact that we had only popped out to the shop, gone 20mins & owner had already gone into our room to turn tv off & shut window, she didn't ask if we we're out for the night, not impressed with that at all, invading privacy

the b&b was lovely, very clean,very friendly and the breakfast was just great would stay there again with no worries thank you to buxton house

superfreundliche gastgeber, sehr liebevoll eingerichtetes zimmer klein, aber mit allem drum und dran. nur drei zimmer insgesamt, daher sehr familiäre ruhige athmosphere. reichhaltiges gutes englisches frühstück frisch individuell zubereitet, und eine prima lage unweit des meeresstrandes schliessen ein ausschliesslich positives bild ab, sehr zu empfehlen.
