In private gardens overlooking Perth, this Victorian building is just a short walk from the center of the city and has a free private parking lot.

This hotel is beside the Tay River, a minute from Perth Museum and Horsecross Concert Hall. Rooms have private bathrooms and many have views of the river and the hotel's award-winning gardens.

A warm welcome to The Angus Hotel, Blairgowrie’s premier leisure hotel and one of only 4 hotels in Perthshire with a modern, fully-equipped recreation club and indoor swimming pool.

Really nice dinner was good value and very good food and service
Location. Staff were friendly. Food was good.
Our room was situated near to a fan system (a/c or heating) and the noise didn't stop until midnight. This meant that we had no chance of sleeping before then. The point of our stay was to relax but there was no chance! Thankfully we were only staying one night.
food was very good ...could have done with a few more chips with my steak though counted 6!!!! dining room very relaxing
room was far to hot ..there was a wedding on right next to our bedroom ..had to put up with lots of noise and foul language till 2 am ...also a loud fan right next to bedroon window that went on untill 12 pm ..very little sleep
Location very good
They need to look at the mIntenance of rooms little things need attention
Great area to be and travel Scotland. The whole team was great - nothing to much and always very friendly . Food very good. The rooms are very nicely done- you feel like at home:)
in the bathroom the cold and hot water tape - look very old class (nice) but simple things like washing hands are nearly not possible ... if the hotel would change that - it would be the perfect hotel - now it's nearly perfect...
The staff could not do enough to make stay pleasant . Food and room was great
The fixed price 3 course evening meal was excellent value for money. 'Fine Dining' at a sensible price.
Great location. Food wonderful
We stayed 4 nights in August and had a delightful time here. The staff were excellent and the hotel is beautiful and in a gorgeous setting
Welcoming staff, very helpful and meals good and reasonably priced.
Wi-fi a bit unreliable, some minor shortcomings on room cleaning
Didn't like the noise from the function room!
Location & Grounds. Pleasant rural wooded setting on several acres.
Hotel has facilities for weddings or other large gatherings. Our sleep was interrupted at midnight when a wedding reception broke up. The revelers continued to party on the outside patio beneath our room until 2am. Our anticipated quiet stay in the country turned out to be anything but that. Restaurant waitstaff were not well-trained.
some staff over inflated prices furniture had been vanderlised decided to paint main entrance 1 hour before a wedding party were arriving sqweeky room floor taxis everywhere way too expensive food too pricey
We booked this hotel as a stop off point as we were travelling to Inverness. The location was perfect to get straight back on the main road to Inverness. Hotel was ok, little bit dated but not shabby. Our room was a good size with a massive bed, but again it needed a little tlc, old stains on the couch etc. we had our evening meal which was really nice, bit small on portion size but nice. My son enjoyed the outside space with the stream and bridge and plenty of grass to run about on. Over all a nice stay.
The only thing I didn't like about our stay was the pillows, they were of really poor quality and had a awful stiff neck, think a hotel of this price should have decent pillows to match the comfy bed
Quiet location, friendly staff, good room and comfort.
Dining room staff incoordinated. We did not need to be asked several times if we had ordered a cooked breakfast and then to get someone else's! Bar menu uninspiring.
The meals there were some of the best I have had while on the road in Great Britain for 20 days. The surrounding grounds are beautiful and enchanting. Great for a wedding.
The room could have used a new bed mattress. There was a lump in the middle which threw you to the edge of the bed while asleep. Some of the staircase carpet needs to be replaced because it is threadbare.
The ambience of the hotel The friendliness of the staff The food was excellent. The evening bar meal was excellent value for money
1- Being woken up by two large delivery trucks outside our room between 5.20 and 6am on the Friday morning was not amusing and curiously not advertised in your details 2- The words 'Travelling' and 'travellers' should have two 'L's unlike your interpretation (ref questions 1 and 3) 3- Why can't I rate the food in question 2 ?
The room was shabby and not worth the money The staff seemed a little indifferent to the guests
Nice room, excellent food, plenty parking, quiet area, friendly staff.
The restaurant staff on the second night of our stay were very short on training. 2 courses were served without cutlery and none was offered. Coffee was only offered approx 30 mins after sweet and not by attending waiter. The waiters were young men who were nervous, inadequately supervised and had obviously not received appropriate training.
My daughter and I stayed here and were so thrilled with the hotel and it's staff that we stayed an extra night and gave up another hotel that we paid for so that we could stay 3 nights. The hotel is set in a park location, the rooms were very luxurious and the staff amazing. Excellent value.
The only negative was trying to find it. This area doesn't have street numbers but eventually someone took us there. It is tucked in area just outside the main city so it wasn't easy to find.
breakfast and evening meal was very very good the staff are realy helpful
Friendly Good breakfast choice
Room a bit ancient
