Especially spectacular in autumn, the walk takes in ancient caves and a stunning waterfall, viewable from a picturesque folly, Ossian’s Hall, built in 1758.

Perthshire is known as the "adventure capital of Scotland", with activities like kayaking, hill walking and 4x4 off road driving all available.

Other attractions in Perth include the Black Watch Regimental Museum and The Fergusson Gallery, devoted to the work of the 20th century Scottish colourist J D Fergusson.

- Take the M90 for Perth.
- Follow signs for the A90 Glasgow / Inverness to Broxden Roundabout.
- Take the exit for the A9 to Inverness for about 800 metres / 0.5 miles.
- Take the slip road signposted A85 Crieff.
- Turn left and follow the A85 for approximately 1.6 kilometres / 1 mile.
- Take the 2nd turn on the right, signposted BW Huntingtower Hotel.

Public transport:
- Perth train and bus stations are 3 miles from the hotel. A taxi from either will cost around 5 GBP.
