Byards Leap Lodge  

Beds are exceptionally comfortable with plenty of room. The fridge is really useful when in mid-journey. The bathroom is bang up to date and spotless . Management and staff were very helpful and friendly. We were very impressed with the quality of this hotel for more or less the same price as a basic motel room in aTravelodge or Premier Inn.

Fantastic place! Great rooms, very comfy, almost home from home. Nice selection of drinks in the mini bar, brown towels (instead of the standard White!) digital tv and lovely comfy bed. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend - by far the best place I've stayed in a while. And, the owners/staff were great.

Our stay was excellent, albeit only an over night stay. Linda gave us a lovely welcome and was very friendly. The accommodation was superb and exceptionally clean. We had a very comfortable night's sleep but unfortunately we had to leave before breakfast was served. We would have no hesitation in returning when we visit that area again. June and John Blythe

Welcoming, comfortable and cosy. Just what we were looking for. Very comfy bed and beautiful room. Excellent breakfast too.

The room was very clean as was the ensuite. There was everything you could need. The breakfast was great in the cafe next door, and the staff in the cafe were really lovely.

We found the bed uncomfortable as it was small and soft but that is purely personal. The hosts were away so we did not meet them, just a chap who gave us the keys and told us places to eat etc. The accommodation appears to be purpose built as opposed to someones home, so if you were looking for a 'home from home' this is not the place, but if you are looking for somewhere to rest your head and move on - brilliant.

Very good facilities. Comfortable and convenient for raf Cranwell base where our Air cadet daughter were participating in an event and staying.

A bit noisy between the rooms, but others on that night were very quiet residents.

Loverly room, warm and very clean. Breakfast to die for. Looking forward to staying again.

It was comfortable and clean, the food at it's restaurant next door was very good.

Very weak or no cell phone reception (not the fault of the hotel- apparently an area issue)

Down to earth, friendly, clean and making plenty of effort to please. Breakfast choice was excellent and all of high quality. I particularly enjoyed to fresh mang and pineapple and the grilled kippers.

Our 'De -Luxe room was in fact designed for disabled use and as such the large bathroom only had a tiny knee level washbasin; difficult if you are 6ft 3in tall.Maybe add a normal sized basin between door and toilet.

Warm & friendly. Extremely helpful in pointing out local amenities. Room was clean tidy & well apportioned. Nice touches wiith the snacks & sweets. .Staff cheerful. Enjoyed our stay immensley. Just what we needed for an overnight stauy for an event qat Cranwell.

The staff were extremely polite and the room was really clean, what a great place would highly recommend to anyone.

Spotlessly clean rooms. Water, biscuits, toiletries refreshed daily. Spacious room, friendly staff and excellent breakfasts. Checking in at 2pm good.

Noise from nextdoor room bathroom annoying. Can hear taps and flushing etc. Room always very hot but fan supplied.
