“we have stayed at byards leap lodge before and had no hesitation in choosing thisplace to stay again. it is excellent in every way, the room was cosy and had every facility you require. the owners were very welcoming and warm. the breakfast was superb, very tasty, plenty of choice and the breakfast room itself was spotlessly clean and tidy. i would have no hesitation in recommending this lodge to anyone, we thoroughly enjoyed it from arriving to leaving.”

Very comfortable rooms with all those little extras that make staying away so much easier. Very good freshly prepared breakfast. Although we booked to be near a play festival at RAF Cranwell would recommend to anyone looking to stay in that area.

I likede the standard and quality of the lodge , it was far superior to many more expensive alternatives. The room was clean and comfortable and excelleant value for money. I liked the fact that there was a mini bar if I did not want to go out for a drink to a pub. As for the breakfast, it was far superior to any I have experiences in otrher motels and chains. i would recommend to anyone. Ther only down side of staying at the loaction was that there was no restuarant for an evening meal, But I could live with that

I was pleasantly surprised when I was shown to my room as it far exceeded my expectations. For visiting RAF Cranwell I would straggly recommend the Byards Leap Lodge. The breakfast again was fantastic and I will definitely stay here again.

My boyfriend and I booked Byards Leap Lodge as we were attending a christening in a church at RAF Cranwell and needed somewhere close by. This is the perfect place to stay if you are attending anything within the base as it is only a 5 minute drive away. Our room was spotless and designed to a very high standard. Breakfast in the morning was first class...lots of options including continental/omelettes/full English/veggie options. Only minor complaint would be that our heating was broken in the bedroom area however an extra heater was provided for us in the room on arrival. Best B&B I've ever stayed in!

Good standard of accomodation which was clean and comfortable. Although advertised as a b & b the accomodation was self contained in a seperate building with 5 en-suite rooms. Breakfast was served in the country kitchen/cafe next door which was also open to the public and appeared very popular. The breakfast was freshly cooked and of excellent quality which was served by the owners who were vere pleasant. All in all it suited our needs as we were visiting family at raf Cranwell which was only a 5 minute drive away. No problem in recommending the facility to others and we would stay there again when visiting family.

The room was nicely decorated, very spacious and clean with all amenities on offer including a mini bar. The bed was extremely comfortable. Unfortunately the mobile phone signal was not good at all in or around the property but there was free wifi which worked without any problem. The breakfast menu whilst not outstanding covered all the basics and was well cooked. The setting of the lodge is not very picturesque being next door to a garage but the surrounding area is very rural while being within easy reach of Sleaford, Lincoln, Boston etc. Not close enough to places to eat without going to the nearby towns. A dearth of village pubs! Monday night is especially difficult.

Fantastic place! Great rooms, very comfy, almost home from home. Nice selection of drinks in the mini bar, brown towels (instead of the standard White!) digital tv and lovely comfy bed. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend - by far the best place I've stayed in a while. And, the owners/staff were great.

Our stay was excellent, albeit only an over night stay. Linda gave us a lovely welcome and was very friendly. The accommodation was superb and exceptionally clean. We had a very comfortable night's sleep but unfortunately we had to leave before breakfast was served. We would have no hesitation in returning when we visit that area again. June and John Blythe

Convenient location, clean, friendly. Excellent breakfast. Early check in. Good toiletries and biscuits! Very noisy plumbing and thin walls. Can hear every tap in next bathroom being turned on and each trip to the loo! Have been staying regularly and small repairs still not done on each visit. Eg wobbly loo roll holder and curtain tie back and tv a bit hit and miss at times.

The room was very clean as was the ensuite. There was everything you could need. The breakfast was great in the cafe next door, and the staff in the cafe were really lovely. We found the bed uncomfortable as it was small and soft but that is purely personal. The hosts were away so we did not meet them, just a chap who gave us the keys and told us places to eat etc. The accommodation appears to be purpose built as opposed to someones home, so if you were looking for a 'home from home' this is not the place, but if you are looking for somewhere to rest your head and move on - brilliant.

Very good facilities. Comfortable and convenient for raf Cranwell base where our Air cadet daughter were participating in an event and staying. A bit noisy between the rooms, but others on that night were very quiet residents.

Staff very friendly and welcoming. Served up a beautiful breakfast in the morning. The only critisisum I would make is it's quite close to a busy road and at night where our room was situated you could hear the passing traffic.
