very neat and tidy room, beautiful yard, the breakfast was great!
Friendly helpful staff. The cooked breakfast. Car parking. Close proximity to town centre.
Small room. Only patio doors, no small window to open for ventilation.
Friendly and helpful owners and staff. Warm atmosphere. Lovely breakfast.
Narrow entrance gate - not easy to negotiate at night - but then I do have a wide car.
A really comfortable place to stay and so close to Salisbury. A lovely cooked breakfast was included. We would happly stay there again
clean & tidy,bed comfy.breakfast realy good,good location,nice & quiet.
Helpful staff.Large rooms.Excellent Breakfast. Central location. Value for money.(Visitor from Norwich)
I liked the facilities, the comfort of the rooms, the excellent breakfast, and the central location
Position,car parking off road,excellent b/fasts,friendly staff,clean and comfortable.
Room was slightly on small size .
The staff were extremely friendly and the breakfast was very good! Also we could leave our car parked there and walk to the shops.
There wasn't anything not to like!
The situation is perfect, a few minutes walk from the centre of town and the cathedral. Daily paper available in the lounge, excellent breakfast hot or cold with a wide range of choices. The staff I met were charming and helpful.
Lovely hotel , comfortable and clean. Close to town centre. Good affordable price.
Friendliness of staff Cleanliness Breakfast
Bed a bit uncomfortable
the location; 5mn by foot from the center but remote enough to be quiet. surrounded by a nice garden a private parking well heated which is not systematic in England in November our dog was welcome buffet breakfast ok
a twin room ok but in fact two separate beds each one at one end of the room, not like the picture of a twin room when we booked! extra small space!
Comfortable; lovely breakfast; nice hot water.
Personally I love to have a bath!
The convenience of its location to the town centre. Friendliness of the Staff. Quiet location. Being allowed to use the car park before checking in (we were early) and after we checked out, at no charge
There were no bay markings in the car park which mean't that cars were parked randomly and at different angles. This mean't that there were fewer spaces available than there could have been and I had to squeeze into the last space very close to the next car who then complained that he had difficulty getting out in the morning. The toasters take forever to toast the bread (my wife moaned about this)
Everything. The breakfast in particular was superb with a selection of cereal, fruit, incredible fresh mini pastries, cake, toast and juice with tea/coffee and on top of that you get a hot cooked breakfast of your choice (be in full English, pancakes, smoked salmon and eggs etc). Staff were very friendly and helped with everything efficiently and with smiles all around. Lovely big room and stunning style building. Perfect location for town centre and 10 minutes by cab to good restaurants. 15/20 minutes drive to Stonehenge which was perfect because we still got to be close to the amenities and not out in the sticks. Would recommend to anyone for a personal break instead of a big 'in and out' hotel. Absolutely wonderful :)
Hair dryer was from 1900 HOWEVER I think nowadays most girls travel with a hair dryer and ghd's of some description so this had no impact on our stay whatsoever.
Very clean, spacious room. Friendly staff. Very close to city centre with free parking (which is rare in this city)
Parking can be a little tight if guests don't consider the length of their cars!
Room was tiny, but perfectly comfortable. The bed was heaven! Breakfast included cooked options, plus a cold buffet of breads, fruit, and cheese. A quick walk into town (maybe 10 minutes) I highly recommend this place!
Close to city centre (only 5 min walk), clean, good friendly staff and services, the building is a very nice big house. No noise over the nights disturbing.
Lovely staff who welcomed us and checked us out. Breakfast was very tasty and quick to order. Great spot to walk into the city from and enjoy the sights.
Close to City centre.
Creaky and cheap beds and t.v too small.
Everything to a good standard. Pleasant, helpful and efficient service.
Clean, efficient, nice breakfast
Small thing but more than one plastic glass would have been appreciated. For the money I think they could provide proper glasses
Friendly staff, excellent customer service, clean rooms, tasty breakfast.
Byways House was superbly located (10 min walk from city centre). All the staff were extremely friendly & helpful. The choice for breakfast was excellent.
