    Very good all round hotel Food excellent especially the tomato soup!!!

    Parking spaces a bit limited especially if you have a large car.

    The Beds, the staff, the view.

    The design of the room was a little strange, with no plug where you can see in the mirror to dry your hair. A window in the bath room and therefore a door on the loo and wasted space. shower drips all over the floor

    the fully professional way the hotel was run, everything was as it was explained, only sorry we did not have enough time to fully appreciate all that was available.

    my only criticism was the restaurant menu for evening meals was a little restricted and personally I thought a little over priced, the breakfast was good but again a little to dear for what was there,

    The hotel is bright, comfortable and well equipped. We used it as a stopping place before flying from Bristol airport the next day, but would happily go there again for a spa break.

    There was a hen party staying in some of the rooms adjacent to us. They partied _ mainly in the corridor_until early the next morning.

    Rooms very nice & was clean

    Ate in Marco's & the food was very poor, other diner's complained with two walking out mid meal! Service really slow taking over twenty minutes to bring drinks. Would not recommend it

    I was very impressed when I arrived by reception & I wasn't even out the car, the reception staff was so lovely and was willing to help with anything as I'm in a wheelchair. rooms were very big, nice comfy bed and after 5 minutes of being there I said to my partner 'we will definitley come back here' was a reasonable price for how posh & amazing the hotel was.

    I didn't go much on the idea of having a door between toilet & shower part of bathroom made it quite over crowded with 2 doors.

    The reception service was excellent, the room was impressive and the grounds are stunning, gym facilities were awesome.

    Room was in a noisy location, bar and restaurant service was slow and disorganised. The restaurant food didn't really live up to expectation in either the hotel or spa.

    Marco Pierre white restaurant was a dreadful experience not to be repeated. Waited 50 minutes for our starters then another 20 mins for our mains. If I was staying at the hotel again I would eat at a local pub

    Lovely room, free carpark, fantastic food but a little pricey, friendly staff, booked through booking.com and did not get allocated the advertised room which was quickly sorted at check in and upgraded to the room we should of had

    Just a bit out of the way, there wasnt anywhere to stroll to after the evening meal so ended up back in the room, would still recommend the hotel though its lovely

    Restaurant manager top class. Great service.

    Room not prepared. Room not clean Shower broke. No towels, ran out in leisure facilities..

    Lovely hotel, luxurious bedrooms and bathrooms, lovely setting in countryside.

    Being awoken by chambermaid who burst in to our room at 8:30am! On route to restaurant for breakfast, an army of cleaners swoop in to clean rooms,corridors are full of dirty linen and ruins the appeal of a luxury hotel. Wifi costs £9.95 each day, ridiculous to pay extra! Access to pool is free but sauna, jacuzzi and steam room are 14yrs +, which they don't tell you about in advance.

    The pool, sauna and steam room were beautifully kept. Staff were great and the cookie was a nice little bonus.

    The quality and presentation of our food on our second night. "Different chef" apparently to blame for this. Not good enough.

    The staff were friendly and helpful. The late check in is helpful and late check out is good as we traveled long distances to get to the hotel. Great to have spa and pool too.

    We stayed two nights on different occasions the second night our room looked like it was quickly cleaned not as good as the previous. Breakfast is too expensive.

    Location, suited us for the Bristol balloon fiesta and Strawberry line cycle way. Swimming pool, jacuzzi a bonus. Stunning views from hotel terrace. Very helpful and friendly staff. Extremely comfortable and large bed. Thoroughly enjoyable stay.

    Only "gripes" were the bikes. Admittedly free to use though in very poor condition, ie tyres flat and badly maintained. There was a £100 deposit on each bike (they were probably worth £20!!) helpful hotel handyman did provide an adjustable spanner and a guest had a pump. It is a shame that such a quality hotel chain has let itself down over this advertised free service.

    The room décor was up-to date, fresh quality towels and a great shower. Cookies on arrival... what more can you want?

    Someone was smoking in their room on arrival, however reception was quick to deal with this as we came back with no trace of a smoky smell.
