Friendly family run establishment. excellent breakfast. great location
too much furniture in the room making it a little crowded.
personal, friendly service will definitely use again
That the room contained an iron and board.
A musty damp smell when entering the property. The room I was in had inadequately positioned power sockets. The kettle had to be plugged in adjacent to the bed, then when boiled had to be taken over to the other end of the room to make a hot drink. I had to retune the TV's Freeview channels and delete unused channels. I informed the landlady that all the TV's require retuning but she said she had already done so.Not true in my room. An awful amount of water was wasted whilst waiting for the shower to become warm enough to use.
near to town centre
cleanliness of bathroom poor
Saf were very friendly they couldn't do enough to help bed was good and clean.
The hotel was very dirty and overpriced for a single room.
Only major complaint would be the pillows are not the best.
Had a really pleasant stay here - a nice, family run business. Owners were happy to help with directions around town, suggestions of places to eat/things to do etc. I was made to feel very welcome and really enjoyed my stay.
made extremely welcome. Nothing was too much trouble, even changing the meal time to accommodate us.
After spending £100 for one night in a bearly 2star hotel was awake as the adjacent room had a party until 6am so no sleep with paper thin walls
i love the fact that I am made to feel very welcome and one of an important guest.
I got value for money and no one can expect more.
Good food friendly staff and clientele
Breakfast, friendly housekeepers, location, value for money
Room could be a little bit cleaner.
I stayed there only recently and found on my arrival that there was a wasp nest in my bathroom. After notifying reception I was told pest control would come in and sort it. I stayed for four nights and every morning that I went in to the bathroom I found a swarm of wasps had appeared again!
Poor decor. Wall coverings dirty, cracked, rawl plugs pulling out of walls, dirt on skirting boards. Musty smell in hallways. Generally very tired looking.
Julie and ken were great hosts always helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Had a good couple of days with them and will definitely be going back.
