The welcome was warm. The room for a less able person was excellent. The dining room was brilliant with views. everwhere was spotlessly clean .
Nice big seafront hotel with very clean well made up rooms, brilliant breakfast and great parking
Everything was just as you expect
Room was too hot and took a while after the radiator was turned down for temperature to drop.
Dog very happy with the room and the way the staff treated him. We liked it to.
1.Old style hotel with large rooms although decor is a bit tired 2.Accommodation suitable for a disabled person located on ground floor.(Room 1) although could be noisy first thing in the morning owing to its close proximity to the kitchen access 3 Young waitress (Ruth) very helpful ( Thurs Fri Sunday -off Saturday) 4 Location near to shops and next door to Theatre 5 Off road parking at side of hotel which including disabled spaces near side entrance
1.Heating was off on the Saturday morning of our stay (Thurs 4th Dec -Sun 7th Dec 2014) on a particularly cold and windy day .Reported this to reception (lady) before dinner that evening as our room was still cold and was told she would report it to the manager on his return the following TUESDAY! No electric fires offered for bedroom or placed in dinning room to overcome problem so this spoiled our 50th wedding anniversary celebration. When the night receptionist came on duty at 11.00pm I complained to him and he immediately gave us an electric fire to place in our room.Shortly after this the fault ? with the central heating was rectified as the radiators became hot again. 2. Adding to the situation of a cold hotel on the Saturday evening was the lack of atmoshere in the dining room as no one else was dining other than my wife and I.Hotel did not even have background music playing. The diinner menu wasn't even displayed for guest as it normally was but that hardly mattered as it was the same 4 items for the duration of our stay. Also the staff on duty seemed to want us to finish our meal as quickly as possible as they took our dessert order at the same time as the main course. The meal I choose was the same as I had on the Friday but wasn't anywhere near as good . A poor offering at £32 for the evening. Maybe this was just our bad luck dinning when it was the cooks night off and the central heatings day off! 3 Free internet ... didn't work.I couldn't get a connection on my tablet even when I stood close to the reception and no signal at all in the bedroom! Reported this to receptionist (male) on first day only to be told he would report this to the manager on his return. My view is that because the manager was away that week end there seemed to be no one in overall control of the hotel and any fault/complaint was being pushed aside until his return several days after we had departed.
View from outside of hotel and close proximity to town and venue Cymru was good. Friendly staff.
Bed was noisy and not particularly comfy, decor was very dated. TV angled towards ceiling? Shower was not consistent and flitted between hot and cold
Next door to the theatre. Great breakfast! Value for money.
Everything. It is a lovely comfortable friendly hotel to stay in.
The bathroom window should be sealed. There was quite a cold breeze coming through the window as it didn't seal.
Position of hotel for the theatre
Small room & Creaking bed
I found the staff were excellent and the location was superb with amazing sea views
Really helpful and friendly staff and a lovely sea view from the dining-room. The biggest bed we've ever seen!
Wi-Fi intermittent, bath quite difficult to get in and out of as the rubber kept the glass shower door in one place.
Location excellent - right next to the venue we were attending. Good car parking. Lovely breakfast
No shower. A bit expensive at nearly £100 per night in November.
staff were helpful and polite we asked to stay extra night no problem and they got us theatre tickets for Saturday show
bedroom needed redecorating carpet needed replacing or at least steam cleaning because it was very grubby. Evening meal was better when hotel was quieter
Very friendly staff, good brakefast, very clean.
The room was much small than those shown in thier photographs.
Size of room Location Breakfast View from room
Perfect location good parking and the lift was a bonus
Small bar in the dining room
Food was excellent, ideal location, room very clean
Wi fi poor signal
noise from other rooms poor Wi-Fi overpriced
The room. The cleanliness Courteous staff. Parking Location along Prom. Breakfast
The wait for main meal when other tables who ordered later were given meals prior to ours. Table booked at 6pm but had to rush meal to just finish 7.30pm no time for dessert.
Convenient Pleasant staff Spotless Great parking
Ridiculously hot in the room - too hot to sleep Feels a little bit 70s in the decor Bit expensive for the standard offered
I loved the location close to the beach, not far to walk to the town centre. Theatre next door. The food was lovely and a good choice of menu. I would go back there.
The only downfall we had was our room was too small would have been better as a single room.Next year where hoping to go again ,so will ask for a larger room
The chef/owner was most helpful with my mums dietary needs. Good food and value. Had a sea view room. Room was large and comfortable. Four poster bed too. I would re visit.
Little dated and noisy plumbing
Good location and easy to park
To much work going on, I felt that this should have been done out of season
older property needs upgrades
Friendly Staff Good Food Nice Room Good Location
Step to bathroom which could be difficult if you had impaired mobility
