Very nice Pub atmosphear. Real Ale disappointing. Excellent food, especially the breakfasts. Bedrooms very good but small problem being outside when wet
Lack of a good choice of real ale. Understandablr with the draught. Probably would not get the through put in average times, but would expect more during the holiday period. What about having some bottles?
the staff were very welcoming and helpful. They had lovely log fires each day, warm and cosy.!
Food and friendly staff.
Nothing - bathroom a little small but no problem
Location and friendly service
The bed was a dream, it as so soft and comfortable. Other things that were great the staff, especially the lovely lady who cooked breakfast. We loved the view from the room and the homely atmosphere next to the fire where we had dinner. It was an absolute pleasure to stay there.
Spent a wonderful night in a lochside chalet with wonderful view of loch fyne over the balcony..The room was faultless, modern, comfortable, spotless staff were very friendly and the food is to die for...all in all a brilliant place to relax and experience Scotland..that good we rebooked as soon as we got home..A big thumbs up from clan Dunbar to clan Frazer
every thing food was great no complaints we will be back for the party at the bells
We were in one of the Lochside lodges which were lovely and spacious. The bathroom had a jacuzzi bath. It was clean and modern. The staff couldn't do enough for us. Breakfast was all home cooked to order. We shall return. Thankyou!
Fantastic room, nice view over the loch, Great food, Staff were extremly friendly and helpfull and happily arranged an early breakfast for us as we had to leave early in the morning, Free Wi-fi,
The location was beautiful, quiet and remote. The pub was cosy and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Will be going back for sure.
It's a lovely place stay for a few days. Great staff and food was very nice great meal on the Saturday night but was very disappointed on the breakfast we felt it was very cheap and had no taste of quality on the Saturday nights dinner. Room and over all value for money.
Location panoramic, cozey and quaint with real fires.
Large spacious bathroom but lighting very dim for the size.
The room was large clean and very comfortable, we up graded to a room with spa bath which was so relaxing after the long drive. Dinner was good and the staff very friendly.
Room a bit on the cool side even with heating on. View from back window overlooked a pile of rubbish.
I have stayed before and it's always a good atmosphere and a good choice of food with a cask ale available too. I am sure I'll be back!
Food in restaurant was nice and good value. Restaurant is separate from the pub.
We booked the place since it looked like a cozy country side hotel. It seems that weekends are more focused for locals than for hotel guests. The one man band started before our dinner was over and did not finish until after midnight. It was impossible for us to be in the tiny pub while music was on, and we could hear the words in the hard rock songs to our bedroom. Must say it put us off staying there again. Rooms are also renovated unskillfully and look likely to be in need again of renovation soon.
Food was good, the staff were really friendly the room was very clean, warm and comfortable with a stunning view. A great time was had with our stay.
The food was very good
The bed was a bit creaky but fairly comfortable
the location set in a quiet village off the A83,i had a room facing the loch, the room was clean and bed comfortable, bathroom was average size with bath and shower. the inn has a lounge and a cosy bar,no juke box so you could talk to the staff and locals with out shouting
had a bar meal, steak and ale pie chips and peas was told it would be about 20 minutes, when it did arrive it was horrible, the meat was pink and the peas i think were frozen.so did not order any more meals.
We like the location, cosy atmosphere and friendly people. The serve good bar food at reasonable prices. Great room this time in the separate building with nice ensuite.
We had a room in the separate building. This is a great nice room with view over the lake. But through the in between door you can hear the other guests breath. Not nice if you are not related. Maybe it is possible to make some extra insulation in case rooms are rented seperately.
All of the staff were excellent and very helpfull
Staff very attentive. We had trouble with our iPad and a very pleasant girl fixed it. The food was good and service excellent. Views from our room and dining room of Lock Fyne outstanding.
Location on the bank of the loch with superb views. The food in the restaurant was perfectly cooked and the price was not unreasonable. Wonderful comfy bed gave us a brilliant night's sleep. Large bathroom with separate bath and shower. Staff who were attentive, helpful and friendly, without being intrusive.
I can't think of one thing which I did not like
We enjoyed clean, comfortable rooms, a wonderful restaurant with excellent views of the loch, and a top-notch, friendly pub, all in the same quirky, interesting, old building. Also loved the tree park just up the road. Absolutely beautiful!
Very scruffy and overwhelming smell of damp. Appalling decor..extremely noisy floorboards which kept us awake. No hot water..ridiculously overpriced.
