Excellent evening meal and good breakfast. Comfortable room and very pleasant staff. Nice outdoor garden with lovely loch view.
We paid a little extra for a view and had a beautiful room with an en-suite (including a jacuzzi bath), balcony and the most amazing view over the loch! Fabulous!
The restaurant attached to it was not that good...just OK we thought.
The room was very clean and comfortable. The evening meals were excellent and the service from staff. Jay is a real asset to the buisness.
The breakfasts were disapointment. The hotel being situated where it is could use more local produce.
the location and the ambeince of the hotel. a great mix of people local and visitors.
The location was stunning, stagecoach in nice inside our rooms was in the new bit with five rooms next to it and where lovely, outstanding food and breakfast.
Returned after another 20 years and really enjoyed our one night in a very comfortable room. The Inn has been made over a lot since our first stop in 1974 and we couldn't fault it.....a bit dearer than our normal budget but easily compensated for by the prices for dinner which were extremely reasonable and my venison was brilliant and they didn't stint on the portions. We will be back.
Only one minor grumble caused by inconsiderate guests (their children) above us dancing around until 2300.
The staff were very good Food excellent, The location very good.
The staff were all friendly, helpful and efficient. Our room had a huge bed, an enormous tv and a whirlpool bath.
We wanted somewhere really charming for our wedding anniversary. The block where our superior room was housed was like a motel (with guests' cars parked right in front of each room) and the view from the balcony was not really of Loch Fyne but of the lane running past. It was all lacking in style and class with a gloomy and strange restaurant and a smoky pub with a dreadful live band that went on into the night and could be heard from our room. There must be a dozen more attractive places to stay on Loch Fyne. I wish we had chosen one of them instead.
The staff were more than excellent - helpful, cheery and good at their jobs. Couldn't be better. The food in the restaurant was good too - they coped with different dietary requirements without a fuss and it was very tasty.
The room was like stepping into the 70s - it needs a refresh. I understand that this costs lots of money, but the hotel would be great if it was updated. Simple things such as re-sealing around the bath would make a huge difference, but really it is a lovely hotel which has fallen behind in the modernity stakes.
Staff were very attentive and friendly Well appointed room with a view of the loch Comfortable large bed Excellent food A very good family run hotel
Having to leave
The directions are very confusing if you are coming from Glasgow.
it was a lovely pleasant getaway the area and surroundings were lovely it was quite close to infareray a lovely little village with a beautifull loch
i didnt dislike anything
Beautiful setting, great food and friendly service.
The bathroom in our room needs updating.
Bathroom dated, poor shower.
If you can afford it, stay in the annex, it is worth it! The food is very very good, the chef is accommodating and has a sense of humour. The view is great and its easy to find.
There are some strange little rules like no pool table after nine but the noisy table football is fine.
Amazing view over loch high quality of room
Stunning location. Isolation Lovely bar and great food.
Beautiful location. Very nice rooms. Friendly staff. Wonderful breakfasts.
Having to ask for the hot water to be put on to have a bath but that's not a major issue x
Really enjoyed the whole package…. Breakfast was wonderful as were the staff. Couldn't be better.
Friendly traditional inn. Good selection for breakfast. Entertainment in bar very good but loud (Jeff). We had room directly above....we were too tired for it to disturb us but this could be a problem if you are a light sleeper.
Simple, cozy, characterful. Super-friendly straightforward staff. Truly Scotland!
Don't be fooled by the negative reviews. This place ticked all our boxes. It sits on the banks of loch fyne at the foot of the rest and be thankful. A building with heaps of character. Great food, well stocked bar and very friendly staff.
The view from our room. The cleanliness everyday in our room. Dinner was very tasty and waitresses lovely and attentive.
There was not a thing we could complain about.
Staff are really friendly, the location was stunning and food was excellent.
Bed was a little bit too soft, we were sinking in.
