The Cairn Function Room has its own bar and toilet facilities. It can cater for up to 100 people for seated meals, and 150 people for other functions.

The hotel is noted for its high quality, imaginative menus. Excellent meals are served throughout the day in the bar, complemented by a fine selection of draught and bottled beers, wines, spirits and, of course, a superb range of Malts - for this is Whisky Country! The hotel restaurant offers local specialities throughout the year.

Area information

Across the road from the hotel, the Strathspey Railway operates a steam-hauled service between Aviemore and Broomhill via Boat of Garten. Broomhill is Glenbogle Station in BBC's "Monarch of the Glen" series. The railway operates from Spring to Autumn and runs special events during the season.

In the surrounding area there are walking and cycling routes to suit all abilities. There are several excellent golf courses nearby.

From the south:
- Take the A9 from Perth.
- Exit at the Aviemore junction.
- The hotel is in the town on left-hand side.

From the north:
- Take the A9 from Inverness.
- Exit at the Aviemore junction.
- The hotel is on right-hand side, opposite the railway station.

By Train:
The hotel is opposite the railway station with direct services from Inverness, Edinburgh, Glasgow and London.
