Comfortable bed. Free wi-fi. Good-size shower. Food: awful. Beer: badly kept/off. Minimal cold-water pressure for the shower, making it virtually unusable (although this may well have been a temporary problem). No response from reception in trying to call for over 20 minutes. |

The friendliness of the staff, the comfort and the quality of the bar and restaurant. The tendency to add extra costs - small, but they added up. |

The food and the service Lack of attention to detail in certain areas. Light in bathroom did not work. Bath and sink plugs broken and got stuck in sink! TV had to be looked at as no sound when switched on. |

The hotel itself is very attractive set in it's own grounds and in a quiet spot off the main roads. The room I had was lovely. There was no milk to make a cup of tea in the room. I had asked for a quiet room and there were workmen right underneath my window. The times of the restaurant did not enable me to have dinner as I had work to do away from the hotel in the evening. The hotel doesn't really cater for business people it's more for weekends away and weddings. |

The Staff and the Rstaurant food - excellent The Room - apparently a complimentary upgraded room - Boiling hot from an unknown heat source, radiator not on, eventually had to open the window and curtains which caused the radiator to come on..! hardly slept so needed a refreshing shower - unfortunately the shower door collapsed on top of me - but at least that woke me up. |

The hotel and the area were gorgeous and the staff were very, very helpful. The staff were great but I think the hotel needs some serious TLC, it was beginning to look tatty even though the venue was fantastic |

Very friendly, courteous and helpful staff, a spacious room with a very comfortable bed, and a view overlooking beautiful grounds. The hotel retains much of it's character and is not ultra modern. Due to a late arrival I was unable to make the most of the facilities but I would definitely stay here again. My room was roughly the same price as a Travelodge and there is no comparision. Excllent!! |

Free Internet I am a businessman working early days and late nights. In the mornings I wanted a quick exit but had two issuess. No Hair Dryer in the room and breakfast was very long winded as they were not set up to serve at 7am when breakfast starts and if you wanted anything hot it took 20 minutes plus to arrive which is not the service i expect and will make this an issues stopping at this hotel again. |
