The hotel is beautiful as is much of the furniture. The staff are welcoming and helpful. I was the only guest staying and I wasn't told this before I went and its a bit creepy staying in a hotel on your own with just one member of night staff. But there is a good lock on the door so it wasn't that i didn't feel safe but it was uncomfortable I would rather not have been told!

The Caistor Hall Hotel charmed me from the moment i entered the driveway , it has an old world charm rarely seen these days . The bedrooms are beautiful ,romantic luxury , four poster beds , quality soft furnishings and excellent wardrobe space, plus no nonsense bathrooms . The staff are lovely , friendly and very helpful. I didn't eat in the hotel as i didn't have time , i fully intend to on my next visit . I liked everything.

Outlook - country house style. Very comfortable, excellent service. Breakfasts filling and well presented. Some difficulty getting shower to run at the right temperature. [but not so difficult that it required staff intervention!]

Very helpful manager on arrival and throughout, always on hand, despite being very busy with party. Very nice young lad on reception in the morning. Good access to Norwich and close to Caistor Roman town remains. Lovely gardens. Visited Turkish restaurant in Norwich town centre - very good and owner made us very welcome. Young lad could do with keeping his trousers clean. Smell of 'blocked drains' (?) outside and in the room. Obtained details from a 'dog-friendly' website, however dogs were not accepted.

Hotel was nice from outside but bit outdated inside. Most of all we have enjoyed king size bed with nice white sheets.Room 421 was huge as well as the bathroom. Hotel is about 12 minutes far from the Norwich city center. There is a bus station next to hotel but the last bus to city center leaves at 20:50. Hotel needs a refurbishment, red carpet in the hall needs replacing. Our bathroom was very old fashioned and there was a make up on my towel from previous guests. Also there is a big gap under the doors so is not soundproof.

Loved our stay at caistor hall. We had the luxiourious superiour room which had a jacuzzi tub in the main room and it was amazing! I stated with my fiancé for the night and it was such a beautiful house, set in the countryside and only 10 minutes from centre of Norwich. Definitely be staying again soon!

The food was great and the staff was polite and very nice. The all hotel is just great, in a fantastic location and with a fantastic setting There was no explanation when we arrived regarding the place like where the diner room was or the breakfast , so for first time guest we would have liked a like introduction. A bit noisy late a night and impossible to reach reception to query about tv to small and far away, we could not see it from the bed. Tea and coffe not replaced on the following day.
