Great apart from no gym
General ambiance and quality of furnishings. Rural location
Ventilation not too good for hot night, with only warm duvet available.
location of cabins pretty
check-in and restaurant underwhelming
Nelson who works there stayed up way into the night as my flight was delayed just to let me in - that's service!
Single bed - should have booked a double
Great location, fab little log cabin only feet away from the course. Really beautiful location.
Reception not open when I arrived and didn't have invoice available when I left!
Beautiful views of the course the cabins are very comfy and cozy , relaxed and modern atmosphere the breakfast was lovey and plenty of tea and coffee very good value
Loud grass cutters early Monday morning the cabins would be lovely if they had some outdoor seating as it was a warm weekend and we wanted to sit outside
The peace and quiet
Maybe the closeness of the chalets next door there were other chalets free and maybe could have been spaced out more
The staff were extrelmey helpful and always had a smile on their faces. Nothing was too much trouble. The situation of the room could not have been any better, overlooking a green and pleasnt golf course
Arrived Sunday evening . We were not aware that there was not the facility for a meal. We were offered an extremely substatial plate of carvery with excellent vegetables but no choice.
Nice view from the lodge over the golf course. Nice modern bathroom.
Not very sound proof. Couldn't completely close the curtains and people were always walking past. Very tiny room. There was a stag do in the neighbouring cabins and they kept us awake from around 1:30am til gone 3am. Nightmare to find! Restaurant was not welcoming. Drove out to find somewhere to eat and there does not appear to be much in the area unless you want to eat in the Table Table restaurant next door.
Lovely location. quiet and relaxed
Good service, friendly staff.
Great value for money. Lovely, spacious, clean rooms. Generous breakfast. Friendly, helpful staff.
Very new, clean, well appointed and quiet overlooking golf links. Granite trimmed bathroom with walk in shower. Unbelievably good (for Walsall!) Very good evening meal and reasonably priced. Despite a few small shortcomings would definitely use again.
High ceiling meant it took a bit of heating, although summer would not be a problem. Rubbish tip rear of chalets. Large list of rules (typical golf club!) £50.00 damage deposit really??? Never had to pay that before. Check out my booking history. There is stuff in the room £50.00 would not cover anyway.
everything, could not fault it at all, the best place by far that either my husband and myself have stayed in and we have traveled well all over the world.
Nothing, there was nothing to dislike (apart from directors preferential parking, which is put before disabled peoples parking, which we both are)
Very quiet, no road noise, comfortable bed and good clean facilities. Staff excellent.
staff were very good, food was also very good, breakfast cooked to order, will certainly return when in the area
nothing bad to comment on
The Chalet was great overlooking golf course and very clean and comfortable, will be staying again. Food and service was good.
A very pleasant rural location with comfortable and relaxing facilities.
There is nothing to dislike.
Helpful friendly staff, lovely views of the golf green from the snug cosy cabins
Slow check out, quite elderly staff on reception who were slow and on two different occasions unable to give me a receipt for my payment.
Room was nice.
Slow reception. No hot water, no night staff on phone, dirty cupboards in room 12
It was very peaceful with good views over the golf course. I had arrived early but there was no problem in getting me checked in. The bathroom was large and the shower one of the best I have ever had. The evening meal was enjoyable.
There is a glass panel in the middle of the door to the chalet consequently a) daylight comes through early b) anybody could glance in and invade your privacy. There were only 2 coat hangers in the room neither of which ahd a cross bar hterefore there was nowhere to hang trousers. Breakfast (at £7.50) was from 8 but when I went in at 8:05 there was nothing there! I didn't have time to wait whilst a waiter went off to "sort something out" so I never had the breakfast.
Very nice rooms and well equipped
Water wasn't hot on arrival which the misses didn't approve of but it was just the case that the water was heating up
Great Location, beauitful surroundings, well equipped rooms
Poor customer service, staff haven't got a clue, had items taken from my room, manager didn't even seem bothered!!! Avoid this poorly run establishment!!!
Warm and comfortable accommodation, in particular very a comfy bed - meaning a good night's sleep.
Everything was fine.
