altes, traditionelles Hotel; tolle Lage, alles ist zu Fuß erreichbar. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut und bietet eine große Auswahl

unsere Buchung war nicht da, aber der Mitarbeiter hat es schnell gelöst.

Altes Gebäude mit historischen Bestand, schöne Aussicht zur Stadt.

Klimaanlage/Heizung bläst zu stark. Warmwasser am Wascbecken nicht immer vorhanden bzw. es läuft sehr Lange erst kaltes Wasser.

Room itself was clean and tidy although view of car park/skips wasn't so great.

allowed us to check in early, location could not have been better for a sightseeing city trip to endinburgh,

would have been too expensive if i had not availed of booking.com

would not have said that it was a five star there for not worth the money.

dreadful weak american style coffee for breakfast even when extra strong continental style coffee was requested; the tray charge for breakfast at 9 pounds ontop of the breakfast charge already paid is exorbitant; the restaurant on the ground floor serves beautifully presented food that has little taste; the room we were allocated was adjacent to the cleaners cupboard and the door was banged constantly even when we put a small towel in the opening for them the cleaners removed it and the door continued to be banged - something very small but made it impossible to have an afternoon sleep

We had a double room which was a reasonable size. The quality of fixtures and fitting in the room was very good, with plenty of wardrobe space, mini-bar and strong-box. The breakfast was excellent - this was the only meal we took at the hotel and the service was very good.

Our room did not have air-conditioning, which was unusual as it was in a fairly modern wing. A table-top electric fan was in the room and operating when we checked in. However, the weather was very warm and the fan was too noisy to leave on all night. Subsequently, it was difficult to sleep well.
