The room was spacious and comfortable. Stylish, too.

Fantastic Staff, Very Helpfull. If i had any complaints it would be the Cost of eating and drinking in the Hotel.

Booked a standard room and requested a castle view (this was just a request!) on arrival was told there were no Castle facing rooms but to apologise they would upgrade us to a deluxe room, when we went to the room there were people in there waiting to be moved - and so back to reception where the manager could not have been more apologetic and we were offered another upgrade to an Executive Studio.... We also received complimentary wine, fruit and chocolates to apologise... No fuss was made, just very well trained staff ensuring we had the best possible stay. As for the refurbishment, I have to say we wandered round the hotel and the only sign was a marquee tunnel connecting the hotel and the Caley bar, so don't worry! Would go back in a minute...

Excellent hotel in an excellent location.very friendly staff also very helpful. Would recommend to anyone if visiting edinburgh.

The spa area needs updating.

Almost everything bar the cost!

Extortionate pricing of extra'S...and after paying a high price for a room in the first place ! So, despite the overall service and quality surroundings i would have to say it didn't represent good value for money! I mean!, £2.99 for a KitKat !!

The staff were absolutely charming: best service I've had in a long time.

My partner and I had booked are room several weeks before are arrival due to us visiting from Australia however are welcoming was very poor and pretty dismissive' the original room we where given was isolated on level e down in the corner of the hotel not only was it very isolated it was dirty, tiny a very orkward room. Not the usual Hilton standards we are familliar with and like. I did go straight to the reception to request a change of room a clean room' we where re-roomed at number 317 which was better but non the less a very tiring arrival for us after such a long flight. The bottom line is I do not think we would stay there again and certainley since are stay I have only told family and friends negitive comments. Also it may have been quite simple booking are room online however we do not know what are room looks like or where it is located..

No parking at this hotel and the NCP car park 300 yards away charged £26 per day. Lesiure club had a small pool and jacuzzi also a long walk from our rooms in the hotel.

Only public access to gym was via a lift which was out of order, so had to report to reception for an accompanied route march through the normally non public areas of the hotel. Apparently its been like for two weeks !

The staff were friendly, very helpful and welcoming. The rooms were well appointed and clean with a comfy bed and good curtains to block out the light. The breakfast was of a high quality with plenty of choice. On site carparking was very convenient and the hotels location was good for the city centre.

Accessibility to the hotel due to the one way system but mostly due to the ongoing roadworks for the tram system on Princess street was a nightmare. A quick note from the hotel to people at the point of booking would have been of enormous help. The bar prices were definately on the high side.

The hotel is magnificent in feature n stature .. It's location is dead centre with beautiful views of castle ...Breakfast had massive selection n scrumptious.. Staff were lovely n extremely friendly chatty n helpful especially the guys at door .. Conseierge desk ?? Pardon my spelling .. They even gave us a brolly for the night when it was raining .. So nice ... In total a beautiful hotel well worth every penny n would love to go there again n stay longer ..
