Good value for money, as London hotels are expensive. Excellent location. Very quiet. Clean enough, no perfect, but ok. Breakfast was a typical English breakfast, no surprises there. There were some small insects flying in the room, like moths. We found them in the basement room and they went to your open suitcases. Luckily they haven't caused any problems at home even if I found two live ones in my suitcase when I was back in Finland. Basement room was very hot when our group arrived, but that problem got solved for next morning. We got another room for the 1st night. Rooms are small but that was not unexpected. Breakfast room didn't smell too good.

Access to all three public transport , shopping, and going to the main airports. , other entertainments... Museum, national galleries, etc. This is not a complaint against staff. It is the structureof the bulding , no lift, . in case of fire ((God forbids )) people on third floor will have difficulty to evacuate the building. Under other circumtances, if a person staying more that a day or two, they will difficulty (to say the least ) to go up and down.

The location was right near Kings Cross Station where I could leave my bag in a secure room whilst I spent the day at my event. I felt safe; the room was comfortable, warm and neat. There are various staircases to be negotiated but not a problem. Full English breakfast was included in the very reasonable room rate. The only point worth mentioning is that the choice of eggs for breakfast was limited to poached; these were well done. (health & safety being a consideration by management) Should your preference be for soft yolks then ask, but be prepared to wait 3 minutes. Well worth it if you are not rushed!

Location, newly refurbished room, cleanliness Staff was not smiling once, neither were they saying good morning or good bye when we left. Breakfast was ok, but very plain and pretty tasteless. Poor service also at the breakfast, we were not offered coffea or tea.

We chose it because of how close it was to the Train and Tube for getting around London and to Heathrow airport. It was a great success for that reason. A bit small but not any more so than the usual european hotel.

Good value, clean and tidy, breakfast was very good, and the staff were friendly. Overall we thought the hotel was good value for the money we paid. Room we were in was in the basement and was on the small side, but quite adequate for our one night stay.

Close to metro facilities. Friendly staff. The room was not clean at all! Extremely small room. In fact nothing was clean not even the breakfast area. 90 pounds for this room was too much!!! I d prefer to spent 200 pounds in a decent hotel for an overnight stay....if you have to stay longer I woudn't suggest this hotel....

Proximity to stations.Staff were friendly and when I asked for extra pillows they were provided. Bed was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good We were on the third floor which was accessed by a very narrow staircase with no lift. Our room was at the back of the hotel and was very small. Furniture in the room was well worn.

Price was ok for the convience of the location. Walking distance to most tourist places. Hotel rooms were a little too warm in the basement where we stayed,we did have massive sky window but then the noise factor if opened. Breakfast was ok but the breakfast area if far too small for the amout of people using it.

Free Wi-Fi. Breakfast was ok. The size of room. Too small. Bathroom is so small you have to shower over the toilet seat - I´m not joking about that. There is only one towel for everything and you have nowhere to hang it on.

I love this hotel: it is my hotel of choice when I am in London. There is an honesty about this hotel, and I love the art work. My room had a great shower. Very highly recommended as a great medium budget hotel. The location makes everywhere in London accessable as well as return journies to airports and visits to the North (Kings Cross/St Pancrass and nearby Euston stations) and the West (Paddington station is close by).

I thought the location was really good with no traffic noise. Restuarant was well presented and clean. Hotel room looked as though it could do with a good clean and dust, bed was cheap and nasty. Breakfast was stone cold and toast was like rubber!

The hotel was very close to St Pancras International Station for the Eurostar departure. Very convenient for all rail travel whether underground or rail. Being an older building the staircases were very narrow for the downstairs room but was to be expected.

“We were very impressed by the hotel, for the price we paid we expected a bed and not much else, but this hotel is perfect. We stayed for one night, the room was smaller than the usual hotel room but it had a bed, shower/bath and toilet, a TV, a wardrobe. What more do you need for such a low price? The breakfast was a traditional English breakfast with toast and jam, the service was quick and efficient and the food tasted fine, with Tea, Coffee and Orange juice offered. Overall the hotel was clean and friendly during our stay.” Michael, Southampton |
