California Hotel  

A group of 4 of us stayed for 1 night. Perfect location for Kings Cross, room was clean, tidy and comfortable. (Double room and 2 singles). Breakfast was fine for us, hot cooked breakfast, carvery style, so help yourself, which we were happy with.

The room was lovely, plenty of space, nice fixtures and fittings. Breakfast was good with lots of choice. Free wifi is a bonus and the signal was strong.

Location was amazing. Couldn't be more convenient for King's Cross and London St Pancras. Bedroom was really big (family room) with sensible hardwood floor. Looked like it had been fairly recently decorated.

2nd time we I have stayed there, there were 6 of us a grwn up girly trip, had a room for 6 people, it was fantastic, so roomy, clean, and comfortable, we are coming back very very soon, so near to theatre land and central london :-)

Close to St Pancras for early morning train The room was small, but would only be a problem if you were daft enough to be expecting the same as if you were paying twice the price. The bed was comfy, the towels were fluffy and the ensuite was clean and smart. As in most hotels which are converted houses, you have to negotiate stairs so small and lightweight luggage is advisable I would have no hesitation in staying here again

As I was leaving before the included breakfast, the reception staff said they would have 'something cold' left for me, however, the waitress in the next morning didn't know and didn't seem pleased to see me.

The staff were very nice and very helpful, breakfast was served a buffet so it was extremely convenient, and the choices were good. It is very close to King's Cross so it was also in a very good area. It was clean and very good value-for-money. I also asked for a room not higher than the first floor, and we were given the first room behind the reception desk, so this was also very convenient for my travelling companion who has respiratory problems.

The central heating was too hot at night, especially during the warmer nights of last week. The shower head could not be hand-held so it was rather tiresome.

Liked that breakfast was provided with the price. And the location was excellent

Great for travellers on a budget, friendly and helpful reception staff, great breakfast with choice and self-service, clean and my room was very recently renovated.

Breakfast staff were a bit unfriendly and woke me up early setting up before 6am as my room was next door.

Staff were kind and helpful. Hotel was perfectly placed for travellers using Kings Cross p St Pancras stations. The room was clean and well presented. Breadkfast was included. Wifi access was available free and worked.

Friendly helpful staff. Adequte cooked breakfast. Easy check-in. Luggage store. Bedrooms decorated since my previous stays.

No lighter options for breakfast such fruit/yoghurt.

Our second room, at the front was bigger and therefor more comfortable

No alternative continental breakfast. The stairs' carpet could do with being refreshed /replaced fairly soon
