This is advertised as a hostel but the bedroom and bathroom was excellent, clean, comfortable and fresh and much better than you would expect at a hostel. We were told that they had only been open for accommodation for 2 weeks. The staff were friendly.

The breakfast was very poor. The staff did not appear to know what to do. Scrambled eggs had separated and were served on a cold plate. We had to make our own toast but there was no butter. The hostel is a community project aimed at employing local people which is admirable, but it needs to make its mind up whether it is a hostel, cafe or youth club. Currently this is detracting from its great potential.

The hostel had recently been refitted when I stayed. (I think I was the first person to use the shower!). Was all very clean and new. Electronic door opener is flash.

Kitchen hadn't been finished yet. And some curtains are needed in the bathroom to obscure view from road. Some power points/lights on beds not working yet.
