CLOSE TO ALL ACTIVITIES AND ENTERTAINMENT IN BLACKPOOL
CLIMBING NARROW STAIRS
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
This hotel was not suitable for anyone with walking diffulcultys as no lift and no ground floor bedrooms.
Lovely Breakfast 24 hour bar
The stairs - they need sides up between the 2 sets of stairs
people in hotel were really good fun and entertainment was brilliant but need a lift for upstairs
the manager and bar staff
Excellent location, close to front and all tourist attractions, staff were very friendly
Few hairs in sink and bathroom floor, shower pressure was very poor, if I had any hair I would have been stuffed
Staff very jolly
Bad old rundown room ,cracked window, no bulb in lamp no rail in towel rail, the picture on website is the complete opposite of wat we got a dump , felt very conned
The staff were very accommodating of my fussy eating child and gave her exactly what she wanted for breakfast. I quite enjoyed the breakfast, but i must say a few mushrooms would have completed it for me. The hotel has entertainment on the evening. Nice clean white bedding and towels. Plenty of tea and coffee in the bedroom. Nice spacious family room with en suite bathroom, not cramped like other hotels we have all stayed in. The location is brilliant for central blackpool. We had a big ticket to go to all of the near by attractions so it was brilliant that everything was within 5 minute walk. There is no parking at the hotel however very near by there is a very large car park which we paid £15 for 48 hours or it was £17 for 72 hours which I thought was very reasonable. You can park outside the hotel for 15 minutes aswell which is ideal for dropping your luggage inside. Then on the day we left staff said we could leave our luggage there so we didn't have to carry it back to the car or move the car to collect it and so my collect it when we were leaving. Overall for me it was better than what I would expect from a B&B that is fairly priced aswell.
I chose not to watch the entertainment in the evening as the bar was quite full of old people and my children are quite a rowdy bunch.. so not sure whether my children or the other guests would have appreciated it. Although if we went without the children I would have sat down in the bar for the evening. Our room was on the top floor, so by the time I got to the top I needed some time to catch my breath back, but that is probably my own fault for being unfit. Not sure how it would suit more elderly guests. Some of the furniture and carpets are a little dated, and although this really does not bother me in the slightest I know there are some people out there that expect to pay a little and expect the world in return. It was adequate for me and my family's needs.. and at the right price.
Location. Staff hard working and pleasant. Hostess very nice and tried to get people joining in. Breakfast was okay.
Had to get window forced open then couldnt shut it. Hot water went off twice and black mould on shower hose, Very noisy on Sunday night as it was a bank holiday with shouting and sirens
tv not working in room also shower very small
Location and friendly staff
Manager & staff were absolutely lovely, nothing was too much trouble. I stayed here with my 4 young Grandaughters (11) (10) (8) (4) and they loved staying here, the evening entertainment catered for all ages young & old.. My girls danced & sang karaoke all night long & entertained everyone too. Room was the extra large family room which was adequate for our needs & breakfast was excellent. Brilliant location just 2 minutes away from the promenade etc. I would highly recommend this lovely place to family & friends, brilliant value for money.. Huge thanks to Manager Andrew & staff for your excellent & friendly service xxx
Not the hotels fault. But.. Although tv/freeview was in the room we couldn't use it due to the previous occupants stealing the remote.
Fantastic hotel stayed there july for 2nites 2 years on the trot entertainment was really good
Breakfast was good. Staff were friendly.
Extremely poor cleanliness of room on arrival. 24 hour reception advertised but had to ring doorbell and wait outside for someone to let me in if returning late.
the location of the hotel is excellent , rooms good and breakfast excellent. staff are always friendly.
Warm welcome from day 1 manager and all staff friendly and cheerful. Plenty of tea and coffee in room. Good breakfast and quick service Always chatty. 24hr reception. Location great for tower and winter Gardens. Would definately recommend to anyone. Yes.
Shower not powerful.
The staff were very friendly and accommodating! The food was lovely. Location was amazing.
There were no lifts and we were on the top floor. Rooms could do with being updated.
Staff are lovely and friendly
Mattress was very uncomfortable, room not nearly as nice as photos, didn't match the description on booking page, carpet hadn't been hoovered for a while (matted hair, bits of food etc...)
We stay every year for the darts championship in July. As usual, service was excellent and we would not consider staying anywhere else as a group of friends. Lots of fun had by all and nothing too much trouble - even the comedy night porter!
The location is excellent for central blackpool, the staff are really lovely and breakfast was nice
The entertainment on the night just wasn't suitable for our young ones and they were really bored, the older people, of which there were a lot, seemed to like it but if you've got kids to entertain it's not the best. In the room which I booked for two adults 3 children (and then rang after to check this was the case) was only one double bed and 2 singles so the two youngest had to top and tale and we were up and down all night fixing them! The standard is very basic as you would expect really, but the carpet was about 2 inches away from the walls all the way round!
Excellent location for the winter gardens, just around the corner for many drinking establishments.
Although no parking at the property, it can be found not too far away.
Very friendly staff. Large clean room. Fresh white linen and towels.
Room very hot but so I imagine was every hotel as we don't usually have the need in the uk for air con.
Hotel was perfect Staff, service everything was great, Andy would go the extra mile to make sure your stay was perfect Would recommend here to anyone
No parking But a large car park near by and only £17 to park all weekend safe and secure
staff friendly very clean breakfast good spacious room bed comfortable
