Really really good! Worth the money
Fabulous position for looking around cental cambridge. Rooms and especially the bathrooms good quality. Prompt and polite room service for collecting bags.Staff at breakfast very polite and hardworking.
£18 to park the car. A slightly corporate feel for those of us not there on business. Our request of rooms together was met loosely only. 2 of our rooms appeared to have interconnecting doors, but not to each other and we had booked well in advance!
Staff were helpful and welcoming. Excellent room and good breakfast.
We were allocated the room we requested on the top floor facing the front of the hotel. The room had been renovated to a very high standard. Everything was working properly. The breakfast was excellent, including the service.
Location location location and new decor.
The breakfast buffet was what made this place excellent!!!!
Great stay at this wonderful hotel, everything was excellent and the staff so friendly and helpful. Location was perfect, once there no transport needed. Will definately be staying again.

Sausages and fried egg. Staff working in the kitchen were genuinely friendly and pleasant. Good location.
Bed was very hard. Staff were pleasant but in a robotic manner. Breakfast bar was badly laid out. Earl Gray tea was poor quality. Bar was very expensive. Didn't think the hotel was good value for the price we paid. Dressing gowns in the room would have been good for this price. We were told we had been given an upgrade to a queen room, but that was what we booked.
The hotel was over priced for the overall accommodation .
quietness and comfort of room, location, service
breakfast a bit noisy and chaotic
The staff were so friendly and helpful. There was always a smile. Concierge service was good, valet parking the cars also. We were early for check in and the lady on reception came to find us when the room was available. We had also been upgraded, which was lovely. We would definitely stay again, despite the high price, as the location was superb.
Lunch in the bar was adequate but not tasty. The portions were small and overlooked. Breakfast food was cold and uninspiring.
This is an very good hotel in a very central location. We had three adults in a family room. Such an arrangement is never spacious, but we could work around the beds and use the desk area satisfactorily. Filling breakfasts. Nice functional bathrooms. Helpful staff. Rooms very clean. Ours was also very quiet (opening to the inner atrium of the building). Nice clean gym area.
The cleaning staff removed the face washers after the first day and we never saw them again. Also after the first day, our ration of soap was one small cake per day for the three adults. I asked for soap for each person and got it ... for one day, and thereafter back to one cake per day. To be fair, I didn't moan about it every day with the housekeeping staff and it might be something that management would put right with a few words if requested. These are small gripes which I could have had fixed if I tried hard enough, I expect.
friendly staff and location
The hotel was excellent, very well presented, luxuary facilities, the staff could not have been more helpful, the buffet breakfast was superb, and it was situated in the absolute centre of the city. Thoroughly recommended if you don't mind the price.
Was quite pricey, but you won't get much for less.
All was great
Paying to park car, should be in cost of hotel
Very friendly and helpful staff, perfect location, very comfortable bed and a good breakfast.
We did not get the room we requested; we were upgraded without consultation, presumably on the presumption that we would approve the change. A little pricey.
The concierge service was outstanding. Our car was valet parked immediately and returned to us promptly with no fuss. Luggage was left in the store without any problem.
Breakfast- hmmm Service poor and staff seemed harassed. Juice ran out and was not replaced. The chef doing doing the eggs to order seemed stressed out and was unfriendly. Asking for 3 pancakes seemed a real imposition. For a 4 star hotel, the range and quality of the breakfast dishes seemed below par and was little different from what you would get at a Premier Inn or a Travelodge! This was the one sour note during our trip and your hotel needs to up it's game re the breakfast service in general.
The second room we were given which was on the remodeled floor. The difference between the 2nd and 3rd floors is absolutely astounding...it's like two completely different hotels, or Jekyll and Hyde...one nice the other very nasty.
The first room we were given, which was on the second floor, had obviously not been updated in many years. The bath was especially terrible; moldy and toilet did not work...reason for being moved to 3rd floor. Room was also very dark and depressing.
Location and valet parking. Quiet, comfortable rooms.
I've had better bar cocktails.
