Cambro House is so easy to get to from M6 if you are travelling north. There is parking if you need it. Very clean and the owners are so nice and cannot do enough to make your stay pleasant.

I cannot find anything negative to say.

We liked everything about Cambro House . The breakfast was very nice and filling .The room was nice and spacious with plenty of room for our clothes and the bed was very comfortable . The en-suite was lovely with some toiletries provided and the towels were replaced every day .The tea coffee and milk were also topped up daily and the cups and glasses cleaned . We appreciated that it was no problem to open the gate for us to park our car every night ,

Alice and David made us very welcome and were a lovely couple. Our room was very clean and comfortable and the breakfast was excellent, just a shame we didn't have more of a chance to explore Carlisle and do some walking. Definitely will pay a return visit

There was a pub a short walk up the street which served good food. Breakfast was good.

The beds rolled when you sat down and parking was a challenge for US visitors.

Excellent location, on a main route into Carlisle yet an easy walk into the centre. The rooms etc were all clean and well-kept with comfortable beds, bathroom. The owners are very friendly and helpful, ready to share their knowledge of the area. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious!

No dislikes! Only neutral comment is that the available parking is quite narrow in places, though this is a feature of the age of the property.

Perfect for an overnight stay en route to Scotland. Close to M6. Nice to have sufficient tea/coffee supplies for three cups each. Lovely breakfast.

Not easy to find initially and parking limited.

House has a deceptively spacious interior which is fresh, clean and tastefully decorated. We also parked in the rear yard by prior arrangement, this was a bonus as it kept us off the busy main road. Proprietors very friendly and helpful, suggesting places both to eat and visit.

Nothing really, apart from the main road to the front being very busy at peak times.
