Reasonably sized and equiped apartment (two bedrooms) for 4 persons. Close to railway station with very frequent trains to London. Some previous guests had complained about smell, but this was not evident in our apartment (only in the staircase).
Only minor things, nothing that was unacceptable for a temporary stay. No Wi-Fi.
The kitchen facilities were good.
The apartment was cold, damp and had an unpleasant smell. The bathroom was dirty and dilapidated. The mattress and pillows were extremely uncomfortable. Rubbish was piled outside. The WiFi was unreliable and the landlord tended to hover.
Parking out front of property Bright and a good view of the street Shop and Pub nearby Walking distance to main shopping area
No signage out front No onsite management Wi Fi not working Appearance of the building Poor maintenance Shower
Good size Clean Quiet Near train station
Forgot to leave out key Hassled check out Did not reply to 2 mails re parking
There was nothing there to like .. It was dirty and I mean dirty .. A sour mob left in the bathroom had the apartment smelling, there was mold in all around the bathtub . I don't have enough room Too tell how dirty it really was .the only thing I liked about it was moving out .. I have pictures and really would wish there was somewhere here to Post them ..
All of the above and more ..
Location is good, close to train station and mall
The place was smelly and damp. Everything was falling apart.
Spacious and very helpful caretaker
Garden was very messy as well as the driveway
house was clean and warm
the parking was not good not enough space for every one
I didn't like the fact that for a family of 5, we had only one key to d apartment
Well maintained and close to town. Secure parking.
The environment was cosy and peaceful and all basic amenities you could need away from home are provided especially for someone that will prefer to cook rather than eat out.
The stairs are not too convenient especially with luggages.
Off street parking was a bonus. Great base for exploring London.
Bathroom curtain rail kept falling! Should have been attended to! As it was maintenance!
This apartment was our home for 13 nights in London and we found it to be a great spot for our family.
Not enough toilet for 4 people for 13 nights. Fresh towels and bed linen would have been good after a week. A plug for the bath would have been good to bath the baby.
In addition to some initial frustration with gaining entry into the property late at night on arrival an the fact that blinds are used in the front sleeping area which do not close properly and therefore you can see into the room from outside, I am very disappointed that I am unable to utilize two of the features that were key to me booking this property (washing machine and wifi). On arrival late at night with two very sleepy children, after an extended period and much frustration we discovered that the directions given to access the property were mis leading. The directions stated that once retrieving the key from the lock box, open the front door and the flat will me on the right. However after retrieving the key we could not get it turned in the lock. We tried everything until I gave up and called my daughter and son in law who suggested I drive to their house and stay there. We then started walking around the building and spotted a door tucked away down some steps to the left of the main door steps. Finally we were in. Now for the ongoing issues - the wireless does not work. I am supposed to be doing some work whilst here and have been unable to. The password given connects to the wireless router but the router does not have a proper internet connection. Secondly the washing machine shocks me. First time was when I touched the drum on the inside I got a significant shock. Then when I knew I had to use it I carefully added clothes without touching the drum. When the wash was finished I went to remove the clothes but the wet clothes were conducting the electricity and every item I removed shocked me. In addition the wash was at 30 degrees, nothing in the was was brand knew and yet all the clothes have either a grey time to them or have been completely destroyed. The main reason for me renting an apartment rather than a hotel was the washing machine. We come from a hot climate and have no need for warm clothes.
The furniture is broken. The ones that are not broken are scratched and wobly. The fittings are broken. For example, the kitchen faucet was completely out of the sink at the base. Clearly maintenance happened eons of years ago. The tv is old. The back yard had grass up to the knees. The hallways were filthy! The front door has grass that has not seen a mower. Goodness, you wonder how people can accept money and let people stay in such a cesspool!
Very well situated for where I needed to be. Cleanliness not good. No plug for the bath. Parking available but only a few spaces and I was blocked in on one morning. However, everything you need for self catering stay and lots of nearby places to shop for food.
We liked the location of apartment. It was a few minutes to train statinon. The apartmant was clean an nice. i would recomend it to others.
Wi Fi did not work.
Very easy to commute to central London via public transportation.
The facilities are a bit old and some do not function well, especially TV.
At last minute, they put us into another apartment(way far away in Sutton) which wasn't in de deal n was further to de train station. I requested to still stay in east croydon but according to them "something" is not right with the aprtmnt thus they can only place us in West Croydon, ehich is still far from the train station, since we're travelling with two small children, we had to take a bus to go to the train station thus I had to bear extra expenses due to dat. I didn't feel safe when walking especially when dark. It was noisy. I feel like I had a bad deal. De 2nd bedroom was tiny. Wifi was so slow.
very dirty too small
Location is quite near to the nearest metro station.
Price can be a bit lower.
We were well situated to get out and about. The apartment was ideal for our requirements.
Only one set of keys to the property, we always had to make sure someone was in to let the others in.
The place is more convenient with the realway station and the shopping mall.
Sometimes no wifi in the room and i should go out of the door to get the signal
