Bathroom door was a nightmare to open and the shower doors didn't close properly!
Location Good value for London Clean room
Traffic noise in the morning - but its a city so you are going to get it!
Great location opposite Chalk farm underground, and the Roundhouse, also great for camden lock and market
It was a little noisy at night in a busy location, but did not put us off as only staying one night
Location to Roundhouse and tube station was fantastic Friendly staff
Clean Roomy Comfortable bed
Being on 3 rd floor with no lift
Really close to where we wanted to be - and easy to find. Lots of interesting places to visit nearby and lots to do
Bit noisy (not surprising considering location) and it would be a bit too warm in hot weather but minor issues overall
Basic room for me an my mom the bed was comfy and the staff were brill the cafe is lovey too and the hotel was right outside the roundhouse which is were I needed to be Camden lock hotel is great an cheap thanks a lot
The bathroom smelt a little damp
Perfect location for London Trip Great value for money Renovated rooms
Room size as expected (ok for London & price)
Friendly staff very polite and helpful, great location very close to Camden market. You can also keep your bags with the staff on the check out day which is handy. Will be staying here again.
Great position, super staff, efficient place to stay with good breakfast.
My room was right at the front (facing the Roundhouse) and it was a bit noisy.
This hotel is good for the cost you pay. Don't expect 4 star when your paying budget price. It's noisy at the front as there's a main rd outside. Rooms are clean, they're ok for a night or two. Breakfast was good for a fiver. It's basic but well located for Markets, pubs and tube.
A lot of noise from the sirens etc. a lot of stairs as there's no lift. En suite was small, but it was clean.
Superb hotel, good value for money, clean, lovely staff, excellent location for exploring Camden Town and London would definitely stay again!
From the start the booking was easy, we asked for a room on the lower floors and got one. There was no fuss on arrival, or at any other time. The reception was open all night. There is a Free House pub across the street and within 5 mins we were in the heart of Camden.
I really enjoyed my stay. It's a perfect location, good staff who bent over backwards to accommodate me, quiet and great value for money. Couldn't of asked for more really for the price! Many thanks x
Well furnished room, very clean. Staff were very friendly and happy to help with any needs. Excellent location if you want to go to Camden Market. Very good price for the area too.
Excellent location for barflies. Service always also excellent. Tube and 24 off license practically next doors not to mentiin several bars and pubs along the way to Camden town at.
Property looks a bit worn and could use a face lift
there was nothing i didn,t like.
I just needed somewhere in the area for one night and this for the bill perfectly. Breakfast (I had the continental option) was nice and substantial.
The staff was very pleasant and helpful in all respects. The location makes travel in London quite easy as it is close to the Underground. There are quite a few nice restaurants in the neighborhood. Rates are reasonable. The reception area and rooms are kept clean at all times. Very reasonable breakfast facility.
Most rooms face a bar that is very noisy on weekends. The only place to hang clothes is a wall rack with five hangers. There is no elevator/lift but staff helped with baggage.

Wonderfully located in the heart of Camden (which had to do why I didn't like the hotel). Neat and clean.
The lack of airconditioning meant that we needed to keep our window open for some air - but that meant that a lot of noise came into our room as it's opposite a pub and close to a main road. Being a light sleeper I found it very hard to block out the noise. London was unseasonally hot when we visited this year so we had to let some air in. This would not be such a negative in cooler times when you can leave your window closed.
Staff and room
hotel on a very busy road and near a pub with much noise
Breakfast excellent.cleanliness good facilities
Beds to soft can feel springs Pillows are lumpy.
First of all, excellent staff! Very helpful, especially the lady we checked in with for our second stay was so helpful. We got early check-in, she let us choose between two floors, and she helped us with gluten- and dairy-free breakfast, and also gave us maps and was very informative. We love the location, just across the street from Chalk farm underground station, very close to sainsbury's, and close to all the fun in Camden Town. The rooms are nice and clean, and the beds are comfy. Would stay here again, and also recommend this hotel to others.
There is no elevator, but that was just a minor problem.
So close to where the action is.
