The friendly greeting from the Receptionist when I arrived exhausted. The room was spotless and the bed was so comfortable that I slept for 10 hours !The shower was amazing...I wish I had one like that at home!
This is a no-frills, budget hotel, but it is very clean, the staff are efficient and friendly and the 24h reception made it feel safe. The cafe and breakfast were excellent.
There was some work going on but maintenance needs to be done. The bed was a little hard and the room was a little too warm.
Location is perfect, staff was really friendly and helpfull, 24h reception. Basic rooms but the bathrooms were renewed and really great.
You can hear the person upstairs walk in his room. Pub in the street is noisy but hé, you're in London! We wanted low budget and got a good hotel in my opinion.
Room was clean and comfortable
Entrance and stairway to the room
Great location, excellent breakfast, friendly staff
Very noisy, paper thin walls. Shame as everything else was good.
The room, although small, was spotless, with a very nice bathroom and comfortable beds. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Great location for the market and Roundhouse, close to tube station. Very nice breakfast with good choice
The reception area was a little basic and carpets on the stairs had seen better days. It could do with tarting up a bit! WiFi had poor reception and radiators were difficult to regulate. It was either too hot or cold
Very helpful staff. Clean bathroom, and room. The corridors are little tired.
Rooms are noisy. You will hear other guests.
The lady who was on the reception desk during the day was extremely lovely, helpful and welcoming. She made sure we had everything we needed for our stay, and if we were to have had any issues at all then I'm certain she would have been brilliantly accommodating.
As our room was on the very top floor, it was a somewhat tiring walk up all 3 floors to get to our room - especially when we returned late at night from our concert! But we accept that there probably isn't room to accommodate a lift in the building, which is why one hasn't yet been installed.
Although I arrived way earlier than 15, I could check in. The reception staff is really really friendly, kind and helpful. They always smile and really nice. The location is fantastic. The rooms are ok, the bathrooms new and all is very clean. If the offer you breakfast, take it. It is very good value for money. And you can choose either full english or continental. Both are very reach for only a fiver.
If anything, I could point out that the windows do not have double glazing and can get a slighlty noisy, but the bed was so comfy that I slpet really well.
A great location if you are going to a concert at the Roundhouse. Very friendly staff.
Was very noisy till late morning, and could hear someone flash the toilet and using shower.I couldnt sleep all night
Bit basic but spotlessly clean
Bit noisy at night from the pub and the shower didn't work
Good location. Underground station 2 minute walk.
Booking online, surprised, vat was not included in the initial price. A bit misleading.
Friendly staff with central location. Nice coffee bar added bonus of great pub across the road
Got woken by workmen drilling on the roof above our room. This was before 9.00am reception didn't realise as they couldn't hear it but offered us a later checkout so we could get more rest.
fantastic location close to gig venues and some great pubs
Good price for London. Great location in Camden. Plenty of eateries and bars close by.
The bathroom radiator had no m eans of turning it off which made the entire room very warm and it's too noisy outside to leave the window open whilst sleeping.
Very close to the roundhouse and other local attractions. Good value for money
Double bed is 2 singles pushed together which makes the middle slightly uncomfortable. I imagine this is so that the room could potentially also be a twin room
Location; Refurbished bathroom was good.
The room was too stuffy - what it must be like in Summer who knows.
Some noise in the hotelbut it was guests' fault.
receptionist very informative and helpful
we stayed 2 nights bed was uncomfortable breakfast not good hotel is not good for families not for older people like us.
We have stayed there before and enjoyed the stay overall. The free WiFi & breakfast is great as usual
Unfortunately the room we stayed in had the heating on all night which made the room ridiculously hot, we had to then open the window but there is a bar over the road which was not quiet in the slightest. This meant that my partner and myself had a terrible nights sleep. There was also some refurbishment work going on which we were warned about, however, there were nails sticking out of newly fitted skirting boards which was extremely dangerous, especially for guests with children,.
The location of the hotel was perfect for our stay as it is situated across the road from the Roundhouse. The cost of the room was very reasonable and we were able to book within 4-6 weeks. The room was warm and had an en suite shower/bathroom. Free wifi was available and there is a good priced breakfast option. The staff were helpful and friendly. We felt safe in the hotel which is staffed 24 hours.
The thermostat on the shower wasn't working properly, so the temperature changed unpredictably from freezing cold to boiling hot in a few seconds and back again. Also the mirror in the bedroom was warped and not very flattering! Our room was situated on the first floor and above the cafe entrance. This got very noisy between midnight and 2am.
Very friendly and helpful reception staff.
