The staff I met at reception and in the breakfast area were all very helpful and welcoming.
Unfortunately I had a noisy room. Constant noise during the night mostly from other guests moving around their room and using the bathroom. Of course, being London, there were the few sirens from emergency vehicles along the main road as well.
Room was nice minimal design Room was very clean Staff were very friendly Lovely little coffee shop Good location
Temperature was too hot in the hotel even after turning the heating off! Wifi didn't work in the bedroom
Location, breakfast, heating and cleaness were the only positive aspects of the hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
The room looks like a dormitory in a student accommodation; very basic. The bathroom is so tiny that one cannot possibly use the sink. The walls have no insulation, and because of the wooden beams one hear every move in neighboring rooms. Terribly overpriced comparred to Continental hotel standards.
The receptionist are really cool and helpful. If you can't handle noise, bring earplugs with you since the hotel is located next to live music venue. This is no Hilton but for me that is only a positive thing.
The staff and location were amazing.
A noisy location, but to be expected in the thick of camden
great for what we needed, location excellent as it was only 100 yards from tube station, breakfast excellent value for money in cafe below which they use for peoples staying in the hotel.
Convenience to the Roundhouse and Tube
location, and people
bathroom/toilet was tiny and noise from road
It was close to the tube clean and comfortable room breakfast was good staff was helpfull
the hotel is on a busy street so it can get noisy
Location is really good, everything in walking distance. Breakfast was good, freshly cooked for you.
We were in room 301, we hadn't been told of the decorating and mending of large hole in ceiling going on that level so smell of paint wasn't good and very cold. Plus toilet continually ran all night, told reception they sent someone to look while we went out but wasn't fixed. So no sleep was had and had a very important audition next day.
The staff was very friendly and accomodating. Eventhough we arrived 3 hours before check-in time (I had informed them of this in advance), they had our room ready for us so we could check in early. 24-hour reception. The rooms and bathrooms are fairly new & clean. Coffee place next to/as part of the hotel.
The hotel doesn't have a lift. They gave us a room on the top (3rd) floor looking out on the side street instead of the busy main road, because I had asked for a quiet room. However, there was construction going on all day (starting 9am) every day of our stay on the hallway on the third floor (putting in new electrics, new ceiling, drilling etc.). It sounded like they were in our room it was so loud. I would've given this hotel very high marks all round if it hadn't been for the construction (and not being told about this in advance or being offered a discount because of it).
The location was excellent and the staff were very helpful and if you get breakfast included you are in for a real treat as it was delicious they also had a vegetarian option for my partner which was excellent.
My only complaint is the tv was a little small in comparison with the room and the floorboards above us were a bit noisy but when the customers stopped moving it was fine.
The location. Clean room. Helpful and friendly staff.
Breakfast. Very poor for the money.
We have stayed here 3 times and are going back In March great location and fab breakfast would recommend
Rooms are a bit small and dated but we are never three like long as always out great otherwiss
everything I want to pint out the efficiency as well as the friendliness of the hotel's staff, which facilitated my stay in london
Very clean, newly refurbished hotel, excellent facilities and very close to Camden market.
Room was a little chilly and we couldn't control the heating from the room as reception advised it was on a timer. Wouldn't put me off staying again though.
The staff.the warmth.locality.the cafe.
Not a lot.for future.just some hooks for clothes in bathroom etc.count fault anything.would stay here again.
Can store luggage, wifi stable, shower and toilet room big
Room has not big, not enough space to put things
Convenient location for Camden Lock area (Chalk Farm tube station is close by). Good breakfast arrangement in cafe downstairs next door.
Windows didn't close properly so some late night street noise is to be expected given the location.
Clean and nice helpful staff.
Very basic accommodation and extremely overpriced.
Ideal for everything Bars market, Tube and staff nice and friendly
Location was absolutely fantastic! Right ont he doorstep of the Chalk Farm underground and literally a two minute walk from Camden Market and High Street. Excellent price for London also.
Great location friendly staff very nice breakfast very good all round for a short city break.
In the evening for a problem with the shower temperature
everything was clean and staff were very helpful
no lift unfortunately and have considerable difficulty with stairs. stairs were fairly narrow and I worried about blocking them for other people as they take me a long time
