.Available parking. Comfortable enough bed. Cooked breakfast, although scrambled egg a bit rubbery . We stayed in room 28 and found the route from reception to it tortuous. We tried to have an early night, but it was ruined by banging doors and water-hammer in the water pipes at all hours. Had we known what was coming there was no way we would have booked . Our charge for providing this useful information is £30. The reason for the charge is that we are not making ab official complaint; just giving you an opportunity to make amends in more ways than one.

We stayed as a couple, along with my sister and her partner, although as we had booked seperately we were placed in the annex whilst my sister was in the main hotel. When asked the reception staff did try to move us closer, however we decided not to worry about it. We recieved a very warm welcome from the reception staff, on entry to our room we were very happy it was clean and modern. We stayed in the hotel for our evening meal and have to say were plesantly surprised at the quality of the food, with fresh baked bread being served along with the meal. However breakfast was a buffet style affair and although the food was nice it was a little cold. Overall an enjoyable stay, thank you to the staff of the Camelia Hotel However breakfast was a buffet style affair and although the food was nice it was a little cold. The hotel has friendly staff and looked clean throughout. Their was also free parking to the rear of the building and their was also free Wi-Fi provided. We were given room 10 which was an "Executive Double Room" that had a full sea front view, I paid £98 for this. I would of been happy with the £90 room as they had a bigger bathroom. We had a 3 course meal from the evening menu and that was £17 per head, the food was cooked to a high standard and as a group of 4 we were all very pleased. Breakfast was nice but as I don't eat pork their wasn't much to make my Full English feel Full! So I just made due with poched eggs on brown toast with beans.

The parking facility was good. The man who 'checked' us in was very obliging & locked our bikes away securely, so they didn't have to stay on the back of the car during our overnight stay. The room was cold when we arrived & the heating didn't seem to come on until late afternoon. Not so sure about the air freshner in the bedroom! Rather expensive for the facilities the hotel provided.

Friendly staff, clean tidy rooms with your standard facilities. We got upgraded upon arrival :) Excellent location on the seafront however a bit too far out of town. Breakfast was a nightmare!! Complete chaos. Not enough tables per rooms and nothing was clean. Got half way through eating and a waitress what would you like to eat?

We were impressed with the cleanliness and modern feel to the refurbished hotel. Will will use this hotel again. Although there is a bar in the hotel, it is very small and not very attractive or comfortable.

It was clean, warm, comfortable and convenient. Breakfast was also good. We also paid for an evening meal and that was well presented and with little delay. We had a lovely top floor room with a sea view. However twice during the Saturday / Sunday night we wished that we had a room at the rear. A passionate, drunken and foul mouthed row erupted on both occasions immediately in front of the hotel. The first one was dispursed by the Police. Sadly that did rather disturb our night. The rest of our group who were in rooms that did not have a sea view slept through oblivious to both incidents. The moral is don't go for a sea view. You will get a better sleep and probably save some money. On the plus side there is no significant traffic noise at the front.
