Activities in the local area include fishing and horse riding, and the friendly staff can help to organise trips. Relaxed, welcoming atmosphere; excellent food; pleasant, attentive staff. A very pleasant stay and we will definitely stay there again. They didn't have many guests (about 5 others) and they up-graded us to a large, double room. Nothing to dislike.

Easy to find and in walking distance of friends. We're used to a bigger room and bed when staying in hotels and found it just a little cramped and will definately make sure we order a king size bed or twin as double is too small nowadays! Just thought £89 for b & b was a bit expensive for where it was.

We had a lovely three night stay. Staff were pleasant, helpful and friendly. Food and wine were good. Our room was a good size and comfortable. One small criticism would be that the room although a good size was a bit chilly even though radiator was turned up. It was very cold outside!

It was truly enjoyable. The staff were so hospitable, the rooms were lovely and well priced. The food was excellent and the breakfast really enjoyable. Would definitely return!

Clean in presentation. Staff were professional and polite. Hotel food was very good. Noisy 'neighbour' across the road during the early mornings disturbed sleep on two occasions.

Helpful staff, good food. Note: Chef came out to speak to diners, which is appreciated. Just a minor comment that the shower room was very very restricted. It was usable, but not what I would expect for your standard and cost of room.
