Our room was small and cramped backing on to the car park with cars close outside the bedroom window.The bathroom was still in the 70's having would you believe an avocado suite,and to top it all you could hear people using the toilet above.This room was not shown on the website. (SO BEWARE )

Hotel staff very friendly Room & bathroom on the snug side. Thought it was expensive for the size of the room given we had carpark view. It cost an additiional sum for the dogs, but had we not have had the dogs, we would have paid the same room rate for a room with a much better view, we feel this is slightly unfair.

We had a lovely three night stay. Staff were pleasant, helpful and friendly. Food and wine were good. Our room was a good size and comfortable. One small criticism would be that the room although a good size was a bit chilly even though radiator was turned up. It was very cold outside!

Relaxed, welcoming atmosphere; excellent food; pleasant, attentive staff. A very pleasant stay and we will definitely stay there again. They didn't have many guests (about 5 others) and they up-graded us to a large, double room. Nothing to dislike.

It was truly enjoyable. The staff were so hospitable, the rooms were lovely and well priced. The food was excellent and the breakfast really enjoyable. Would definitely return!

Easy to find and in walking distance of friends. We're used to a bigger room and bed when staying in hotels and found it just a little cramped and will definately make sure we order a king size bed or twin as double is too small nowadays! Just thought £89 for b & b was a bit expensive for where it was.
