no soap in room a bit expenive based what was on offer
- Very good location, close to Oxford street, Hydepark, Edgware road underground. - Friendly staff
- Poor breakfast - Must pay for wifi
The staff at breakfast were pleasant, easy conversational and produced a lovely breakfast based on the quality of the ingredients supplied to do the job
Recep staff on arrival were not welcoming at all, gesturing to hand over my £80 cash whilst on phone sorting out a problem with 2 guests. Key put on desk and gesture to where room was. Sink in bathroom needed deep clean around tap but loo ok. Hotel close to Edgware Road hotel quiet but street a content stream of sirens until 4.15am.
5 mins to Edgeware Road Tube. The Lady that serves breakfast.
Reception staff lacking in Customer Service - very unwelcoming. No way can you get to Oxford Street nor Soho within 10 mins on foot!! Google - 28mins Oxford Circus, 43mins Leicester Square. Very noisy at night - seemed to be some street racing and other trouble on the streets at night. A number of "characters" hanging around the outside of the entrance late night/early morning.
staff very helpful, breakfast were lovely
Room needed a good clean, staircase on the best if you have luggage.
Rooms in bad state of repair , curtains falling off . Very noisy -old windows no double glazing . Breakfast not nice . Would not stay again . Could not say that the bedrooms were any way hotel standard !
Good location near Paddington.
I had a basement room. No soundproofing from above for people walking on hardwood floor. Window did not have a security latch - it was broken. No black-out blinds, very bright. Shower head needs replacement.
I don't like anything in this hotel
The facility and the price , the worst hotel in my life
Proximity to tube station. Pleasant ladies serving breakfast.
Dirty Noisy - doors slamming throughout the night Basement room -dark and dingy
Excellent service from the lady in charge of breakfasts, also helpful and polite desk staff. We had an excellent location for very competitive rates for our stay.
Very tired room, building generally is run down and could do with refurbishing. Dreadful plumbing!
delicious breakfast nice staff room was tidy place price vs. quality
The staff did what they could to make this an OK vacation.
Dirty family room placed in the basement, with an incredibly bad air quality. -mould or fungus stains in the ceiling -bathroom next to extremely -micro wave oven not cleaned out from last visitors If there was abbilities for uploading pictures I would have to proof these experiences. If this is the english definition of a 3-starred hotel, I'm really disappointed. Also disappointing that booking.com wouldn't help out to find an other hotel for us all though we where aware that it would mean an added cost for us. Keep away from this hotel is my advise.
Breakfast was good.
Room was drab. Bathroom very small.
Staff were very friendly. Location was close to Oxford Street but didnt feel very safe walking there.
Room was tired and worn.
Horrible place. Location was excellent
Location was perfect, staff lovely, beds and shower clean.
VERY basic. No doors on the wardrobe and the inside of the fridge was dirty
bathroom very grotty no proper shower water ran into drainhole on the floor no proper shower fittings rooms very small
Room had a balcony. 5mins walk from Marble Arch/Hyde Park.
Rooms were dirty, no ceiling on bathroom, only one towel provided, no toilet roll in room had to ask at reception. Would no recommend staying here, plenty of nicer hotels right beside.
dirty room mold on the sheets
There was no shower gel and shampoo in bathroom and I asked they said they do not supply this and any other hotel on same street neither who give ranking such hotels as 3 start but they do not provide such basic thing?
The location was quite good, near the Oxford Street and Marble Arch.
The room was not clean enough, it was very noisy around. The was no option to store the baggage in a safe closed place after checking out. The breakfast was quite poor without no vegetables (just beans) and fruits. Even in cool summer time it was cold in the room and coridors.
The ensuite in a cupboard which consisted of a toilet and shower which had mould on the shower curtain and the grout. No vanity basin had to shave in sink in room, no where to put toiletries, small hanging area no drawers or cupboard to put clothes in. Very poor facilities.Would not recommend this hotel.
The room was not clean. The light in he shower-room went on and out. Mattress very uncomfortable.
