Near Edgware road station. Quiet at night. Does the job overall
Reception not friendly when you invite a guest to your room for an hour or so...?!?
Cleanliness Value for money Wifi connect low Facilities poor Had to move room
A mouse in the room!
hey! everyone i did liked the bed it was so comfy and worm plus i enjyed my little praivte bathroom and the viwe was nice.
thaT the towel was small to my size hhhh
Staff were very nice. They changed our room to something better upon entrance. Which in a way is slightly worrying if our room was the nice room.
Booked for new years. very basic and old fashioned. Nothing special. Was ok for a bed for the night but wouldn't suggest staying in the room for very long it's was pretty bland. It's more of a bed than a hotel.
One of the best B&B we ever stayed in London .The rooms are cosy and the heating works well, even on a very cold night. Wifi speed is incredibly fast. The staff are very honest and reliable. They packed and sent back our Tablet that we left in the room. Highly recommend this hotel to everyone.
Ladies serving breakfast were lovely
Dirty, small uncomfortable, had to ask for towels and toilet roll, were asked for payment on arrival and upon being there 10 minutes realised why, we would not have stayed or paid on departure the experience was so bad, even got woken up by scratching noises but because we didn't want to upset or alarm the children we left it until morning and were then told there was nothing they could do about it!! Please DO NOT take your children to this hell hole - fortunately we didn't have to spend much time there, very unhelpful rude male staff!! I cannot express enough DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE
Convenient location, a good breakfast and very friendly and helpful staff. Within a walking distance from Marble Arch/Oxford Street, Mme Tussaud, Paddington stn and very close to Edgware road tube stn and several bus lines, fridge, microwave and coffe/tea in the room
Staff were amazingly helpful
Rooms were shabby and very basic. I wouldn't have wanted to stay more than the one night as luckily we spent very little time in the room
Cleanliness is an issue..check your room before to make sure is what you want
- If you want to pay for your stay by cash, it's ok. But when you decide to pay for it by card, you will pay the whole amount and + 10% more... This wasn't mentioned anywhere, so we were a litte bit dissapointed and angry.. - weird smell from bathroom - blanket on my bed was not in very good condition
facilities are too old
The room was not readily accessible at the top of a very narrow twisting staircase, not good for a 70 year old
Nice ladies serving breakfast, good location.
The receptionist did not even speak to us when we arrived and continued to have a personal call. He charged us 5 pounds more with the explanation that we pay with the card. No such condition is on the web-site of the hotel. We had only one towel in the room and must have asked three times before we got another one. The second day we were given a towel not properly washed with someone´s make-up on it. The bathroom was a separate cell in the room with no air-condition. You can hear everything from other rooms. According to the web-pages, they offered English breakfast, however, we got only toast with jam on Sunday.
Location & Value for money Close to Tube Station
Pillows/Blanket on small side TV screen small.
Location was good, short walk to Oxford Street, Hyde Park. Breakfast staff were also friendly. Free WiFi.
We were in the basement, which felt like a dungeon. Room was old, falling apart. We asked for extra blankets but they didn´t have any. Luckily, they kept the heaters on during the night. Bottom line, it was expensive for what we got.
Non heating of my room to reduce the cold
It was 5 min. walk from the underground, and 10 min. walk from Oxford street.
The room was too dirty and when we arrived at 14:00 it was not ready yet.The breakfast was awful,we never eat breakfast at the hotel.
Located in the center of London
Bad room Bad reception service
1) Good location near the Hyde Park and Oxford Street 2) Friendly personal 3) There are TV and refrigerator in the room 4) Relatively low price
1) Toilet and shower are outside of the room 2) Room is very small by space 3) There no cupboard for closes in the room 4) On Sunday a Continental breakfast was proposed (only coffee with some bread), but other days - full English breakfast.
Basement room was below reception which had a wood floor covering and I could hear footsteps all night and did not get much sleep
Anything... sorry !
- Room in the cellar - no table in the room - everywhere painting traces - room not ready at our arrival (no toilet paper, no towels, not clean, ...) - mouse half death in a trap in the breakfast room Who ever gave this hotel more than 1* has been paid a huge sum. The fotos on the hotel website never ever correspond to the reality. WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANOTHER CONTROL OF THE STARS GIVEN TO THIS HOTEL and WE DO RECOMMAND NOT TO BOOK THIS HOTEL - EVER !!! ... better to sleep under the bridge.
Location, Price, Breakfast. Breakfast ladies very friendly, reception staff adequate. Room was clean and towels changed daily. Could not understand what the bad reviews are about - but maybe I got lucky or it could be that I complained beforehand.
Typical three star small hotel. I would re-use if good price is charged. Only one bedside table for a double bed. Does need some re-finishing. No lift.
Nothing it was that bad I checked into a hotel next day
There was no heating no hot water and the smell of the room was as if you were sleeping beside the sewers I even got up the following morning scratching
The breakfast lady was nice.
Room too small; the kettle was dirty and the lid was broken; there was no slipers; not very clean. And the receptionists were indifferent. Wifi was not free
