The receptionist was lovely and very kindly allowed me to leave my car in the hotel car park until I had finished at my conference the following afternoon - saving me a small fortune in parking fees! I slept well and had a lovely hot bath... The breakfast was very nice - lots to choose from and the croissants were particularly fresh and delicious.

The location was quiet and only a 20 minute stroll into the Town Centre. The staff were exceptionally pleasant, the bar/restaurant very nice, the breakfasts and dinner we ate at the hotel were very good and certainly value for money. Our room was a little on the small side but we were out and about mostly, so it wasn't a problem, and it had everything we needed. In total, we were very happy with the hotel and enjoyed our stay there.

I thought that the staff were very friendly and helpful. It was close enough to the city centre but not right in the centre so it was in a quiet location, easily accessable by either car or on foot. I was slightly disappointed with the cleanliness of the room.

I thought the price of stay was really good. The room was clean, nice and comfy and the bathroom was clean and had shower gel. The hotel restaurant was too expensive for us and the hotel was too far to walk anywhere else to eat.

This hotel is very good for the money. I paid £55 on new years eve. It's near enough to the city but not to close that it's noisey. The room was good and it was clean. The lobby and bar area are fine too. It has secure free parking. I'll stay there again no worries. The wifi connection in the room was terrible, next to useless. The 3G on my phone was better. Apart from that everything else was fine.

Payed £44 for one night, rooms were clean, staff were friendly. One problem was parking, impossible to park in evening so should have bigger car park also could hear next door all night but that wasnt really hotel fault :-/ would stay again if I planned to go to aston again.

Breakfast was good value and tasted ok. Dining staff was pleasant and helpful. Room was untidy and there was damp / mould in the bathroom. A lot of noise occurred during the night and when the night porter was called nothing much was done about it.

The staff were helpful. The hotel was clean and tidy, and the bar area and breakfast area were good. Even through the hotel was busy we didn't have to wait long for anything. The car par was small and there wasn't many places left to park.

“a warm welcome from the start, plenty off staff to assist at the checking in and departing procedures, informative and helpful, rooms clean and tidy although a little tight in the bathroom. Did not have a meal at the Birmingham Ibis though facilities looked comfortable. We will be looking to stop again at this hotel and this time try out what Ibis has to offer.” Martin, S. Devon |
