The room was functional, comfortable and clean. Provided tea/coffee. Very good breakfast included in room price. Very quiet area at night.
Location is not in the city centre, but it is possible to walk or get a taxi.
Staff were very helpful. Plenty of option at breakfast.
Disappointed with the cleanliness. Our room had a door linked to another room and when they got back in drunk early in the morning, we heard everything.
Breakfast very good close to the city centre
No hand towels in the room bathroom floor had not been swept asked reception about public transport into the centre but he did not know we're we could get a bus in to town
Good food Good free parking For price you pay it was fine for 1 night
Could hear next rooms tv very thin walls Room smelled of smoke Bathroom could have been cleaned better.
Location, car parking and general facilities.
Spiders and spider webs under the TV tabletop. Several cables were dusty and there we spider webs in between. I reported it to Devine (DM) the next morning, but he was very defensive and instead of a small apology he started checking that I had paid. This made me upset but I didn't show it. He has very poor customer service skills and shouldn't be in this position. He needs training. Please clean the rooms properly as we are paying good money to stay there. We are booked into another Camponile Hotel next month, I hope to not get the same experience.
Mattress was poor could feel the springs so sleep was effected
The staff were exceptionally helpful. This is in a convenient position with secure parking close to the city centre. Breakfasts are good with a wide choice of cooked items and cereal and pastries. Worth the money. If you want 5* then don't stay here. But if you want convenient, good value and good customer service. This is the one for you.
Quiet. Good breakfast. Near Aston University.
The wifi was poor.
Nice hotel, clean, modern, nice bar/restaurant. Staff were good.
Nothing really. Great value for money. A little bit outside Birmingham centre (if walking) but we knew that already and, even considering this, very good value for money.
Nice quiet location with good staff. An airy bar with big screen serving meals. Rooms nice and quiet overlooking the canal
On the last day only one towel left for two people.
Could be cleaner. Dated decor. But what you expect for the price.
Staff v helpful, parking excellent, breakfast v good.
Noisy late returning hotel guests slamming room doors at 3 a.m.
Staff Location Clean
Bathroom old fashioned Bed too small
Service of the staff was excellent .
Breakfast was good quality but on the cold side think the hot stainless steel servers weren't keeping the food hot .
On an industrial site Loads of Autoglas vans in car park and drivers standing outside at night shouting et.
No complaints at all. Room and hotel was very clean, staff were amazing and continental breakfast was substantial and there was great tea/coffee facilities.
Could do with a lick of paint to spruce it up a bit.
Cleanliness. Comy beds and the price
Four walls and a roof.
When trying to call to amend a reservation I was put on hold several times and then disconnected. When I called back and asked not to be placed on hold I was told to call back. Thank God I didn't and booked elsewhere. Was a pungent smell of grease.
It was relatively cheap and free car parking. I was only there for the one night on business, so just needed a place to sleep.
On checking in at 10 pm I was sent to a room that hadn't been serviced and had to return to reception to be allocated another room. At breakfast there were no eggs, bacon or sausage and I had to wait till kitchen staff came out to refill the heated containers.
Staff were very good
easy access to city quiet location clean room friendly staff
very busy with group booking when we arrived my request for early check in was denied
Rooms cancelled on the day of my sisters wedding with a terrible replacement miles away and no compensation offered. The taxi that was promised to pick us up had not even been booked correctly. Terrible management of a bad situation. Never again.
Free parking. Close to City Centre.
Very small bath! Smell of food in reception areas.
Comfy bed, quiet even though we were told the hotel was full, good value
Food was very poor in the evening, steak was inedible and no alternative or refund offered. However breakfast was OK, would stay again but have room only
Staff abrupt and not helpful
