Nice big room and bathroom Helpful staff Great location
food and drinks a bit pricey
I will definitely book again!
easy parking, friendly staff, good food,
there was a smell of dry urine from quilt
Stay there most Friday nights when I go out with mates
The Location, friendly staff, value for money
Only one wall socket not next to a mirror. A little noisy as next to main road.
24-hour reception. This allowed us to be flexible on our check-in.
The food was good and the staff friendly.
Ease of booking on line, on arrival staff very friendly and check in very good and all about the bar, restaurant and times of meals explained. The room was adequate for a 3 night stay.Room was tidy and clean as was the toilet. We requested additional towels and were given immediately by reception staff. Hotel very quiet at night, no noisey clubbers. Food good and good varety.
NOTHING AT ALL. NO NEGATIVE COMMENTS.
had the basic things we needed for a comfortable stay for the night.
asked for the english b.fast. we were eating our starter , when the lady placed our meal down. she never asked us what we wanted and it was all pre cooked.so it was getting cold while we eat our cereal .
Breakfast freshly cooked to order. Friendly staff Loved the bottle opener on wall by bed! Something often overlooked!
No hair dryer in room. Can get one from reception but I got the last one and that was quite early. Basic requirement? Room very hot by morning as no a/c but wouldn't expect more for the very reasonable price. All in all not a bad place.
Cleanliness, overall comfort, staff friendliness, free internet, excellent location
Internet was free but a bit slow
Cleanliness of room, comfortable bed, position of hotel and tree surroundings with some grass and parking outside rooms. Only two levels which suited me with a dog. The bar and eating facilities were simple but very cheerful and helpful staff and what one would expect at a budget hotel.Would recommend for an overnight stop and use Campanile again.
No hairdryer in the room, was supplied when asked at reception. The first didn't work but they found a new basic one which was sufficient.
The pub was good with a good range of reasonabley priced meals. Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean.
Bed was a bit uncomfortable.
Good location parking very easy, wifi very good and fast the room very good, for the price this close to London
Some noise from the road.
Good location for our trip. Plenty of parking. Helpful and efficient staff Didn't try the food so cannot comment Seems very popular
This hotel is showing its age and the facilities are a little cramped. Some attempt has been made to smarten things up but it needs more money spending.
The location suited us very well and as we have stayed at Campaniles before it was just as we expected.
It is begining to look a bit in need of redecoration. The restaurant was busy at breakfast time and the staff stuggled to cope. A full english breakfast took half an hour to arrive and then was disappointing.
Ground Floor Chalet with easy access. Friendly and helpful reception staff (especially Tracey). Pleasant restaurant staff.
The shower fitment in the bathroom desperately needed renewing, and none slip bath mats really need to be provided to help prevent accidents. Also the bedroom lighting was very dim.
Clean comfortable staff friendly
Rather small room
Confortable - free WiFi. Only One night but really good.
The towels were brought over from reception straight away
There was a constant noise in the bathroom.Dust was blown out of the air condition into the bath. There were no towels and no shower gel.
Staff efficient and friendly. Clean bedding
Nothing to dislike, you get what you pay for.
Bed clean. Proximity to my family, only reason for use. Able to cancel if not able to go to Essex.
Noise from A127 road. Sewage smell when I checked in, but I think bath leaks, so that might be reason. Carpets need cleaning. Asked for room away from road, but this did not happen and I could not be moved. Huge potholes in car-park could have taken sump out in the dark. Generally shabby looking. Filthy rags left outside room (leak problem?). Will never use again.
Staff were very friendly and helpful
Bit expensive for the area and basic level of accommodation
Everything i have stayed in this hotel many times never had a problem
Location for us good as we were having a night out in London and this hotel was a cheaper option to staying in the city. Tea and coffee facilities were provided in the room. It is a basic hotel and as we only needed a bed for the night it was suitable!
Overall I think the hotel is overpriced for a basic hotel! Disappointing to find in the morning only 2 bath towels, no hand towels, or flannels or hair dryer! I didn't ask reception for any so don't know if I had asked if they would have provided additional towels but really just expected them to be there!
