Extremely convenient for Park and Ride for Cardiff or self drive to both Cardiff or Newport. All staff we met were very helpful and cheerful even though we arrived for breakfast when the restaurant was extremely busy. This was our third visit to this hotel and we look forward to our next visit.

Nice and comfortable bed,wellcoming and polite staff, good continental breakfast.

The heater wasn't on during the day and when it was on, it wasn't suffisient for the whole room. They need to install bigger heater to maintain the place warm.

GREAT VALUE, clean, warm, convenient, free internet, plenty of parking, late check-out. Only 10 minute drive from Cardiff centre and 20 minutes to Caerphilly. I was super impressed. Highly recommended.

noisy from traffic & plumbing!!

Great pillows, comfortable bed. Reasonable breakfast. Clean but tired.

Now a bit jaded. Door to reception wood as rotten at the bottom. All could do with a lick of paint.

Nice quiet location. Pleasant rooms.

Carpark is a bit awkward. I had a large van so found parking quite difficult and left the van at the pub down the road the second night.

Clean & inexpensive. Lovely shower, lots of water & powerful.

Not very well signposted.

Car park was very steep but was warned about this whilst booking so was excepted. Room only had one electrical socket which was the t.v so had to turn t.v off to use things like charge phone, etc, more sockets needed.

Clean, simple and fit for purpose.

Mattress needed changing due to it sagging on one side.

Very hilly location - not good for anyone with mobility issues Cold rooms, poor fitting doors. Stone stariway to upper floor not pleasant

Location to bus route, clean, comfortable, warm, bath in bathroom, free wi fi, friendly staff.

Decor was dated and carpet for the was a bit shabby (but clean). When we checked out their computer system was down so they were unable to give me a receipt for sundry expenses. It has been 3 days now and I have still not received the promised receipt via email. Consequently I don't know the final cost of our stay. Most disappointing.

Bathroom was spotless as if brand new. On site resturant was delicious. Staff were very helpful Very quiet and a great night sleep.

No fuss. Good, clean basic accommodation. Thoughtful siting of our room since we had our dog with us.

The room is comfortable and clean.
