“ The main thing about this hotel is its staff. They are really friendly and nothing is to much trouble for them. Simon I Believe is the manager is a really nice man and takes an interest in his guests. The food was lovely and the chef was also very friendly and took time to come out and pass the time of day with us ”

The room was very clean and tidy and the evenings very quiet so ideal for me as I could study at night, the rooms are spacious and the beds are very comfortable, and the hotel is in a ideal place near to the shops and easy to get to and there is plenty of parking, and ideal for the horse racing enthusiast I didn't try the restaurant so I can't comment on it as I think ALL restaurants charge to much and they get offended when I say I like my meals cooked as I like all meats cooked (well done). I think the bar could sell draft beers as well as bottles, but this is only opinion others may not have the same opinion as myself.

Perfect for a stopover if you are travelling around as we were. The room was spotless, very quiet and the bed was comfortable. My husband chose a cooked breakfast which he said was excellent and was served by the hotel Manageress who was so friendly and very efficient. The barman of the previous evening was also very friendly and could not have been more helpful.

As a single person, I found the room to be comfortable and spacious. I enjoyed my evening meal and the meat was cooked exactly to my liking. The one complaint I have is that I was charged for two cooked breakfasts when I only had one. I didn't discover this until I checked my bill prior to submitting it for a claim. If this is read, a refund would be welcome !

Comfort. Clean, affordable. nearby facilites were practical. Close to The Dome- recommend for those who wish to stay over night due to concerts etc. The shower wasn't warm, and the bathroom flooded if you weren't careful. Also the heater was ineffective. Had to put on extra layers in the middle of the night to keep warm.
