The room was cosy and had what we needed for a overnight stay. Good location for the town. Enjoyed and would stay again The only thing was it very cold in the room we had breakfast in

No plug sockets in this double room. There had been in a twin w Room the week before. We couldn't charge our camera for our trip to Yorkshire wildlife park and that was disappointing!!!!

Close to my family and it was inexpensive. It was a relatively low budget motel, which I expected. The only complaint was the rooms are cold even with the heat on in cold weather.

Liked the location as fairly close to Doncaster Rovers F.C. Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms a bit dull and in a complex befitting a holiday chalet complex. Channels on bbc did not work while we were there which was annoying.

Price. Basic but clean. No phone in room. Food not fantastic and £6 for buffet cintinental is ok if you want the works but dear if you only want toast - which I think many do. There was a disturbance late at night from drunken people in room and no phone to alert / complain in either of the 2 rooms we took.

Nothing I wouldn't even called this a budget hotel we did not stay here we checked out after the first night it was horrible and I would never recommend to anyone in fact I would tell them to stay away. There is no way this hotel should even be 2 stars with booking.com and not sure if I would use you again. I disliked everythig.. Did not stay here in the end checked out as soon as we checked in...

I did not like the chalet style rooms. The only reason I booked was because of the Grading on your site. More information should have been given About facilities. It was really bad weather and to have to go out To get to the rooms I have not had to do since a child The board walks are not very good and when you get Yourself ready for the races I did not envisage Having to get wet to get Ho reception to order a taxi. I will not use your site again without looking Into accommodation more thoroughly considering Premier inn was only down the road. To charge the price we paid was a lot for the accommodation And the room although clean was dated And small.

On booking the room price is shown then £6 is added for breakfast, finally you are informed, that for the full English you need to pay an extra £2+. The room was small and at £35 cheap but with the cost of breakfast became less attractive. Please all costs up front, opt out on first page of booking. The carpet was dirty, the single bed moved every time you got in and out of bed. Only 4 teabags and terribly dry biscuits. Poring rain made getting to and from the reception/restaurant means a soggy trip for the amenities. Finally all bbc channels had a large black warning message across the screen.

It was conveniently placed for me to get to the office I was attending a meeting in and both the evening and morning receptionists were polite and friendly. The evening receptionist was very helpful in changing my room when I felt vulnersble as a lone female traveller stuck on the back corner of the rooms block facing onto a housing estate. Evening meal, whilst tasty, was grossly overpriced and heated up by the receptionist in the little kitchen off the bar. Breakfast, bacon underdone and sausages overdone.....but can't expect much more when again it is being cooked by the receptionist in the little side kitchen. If this is their set up for food then the menu prices should reflect it, I have paid cheaper for freshly prepared (by a chef) excellent food and Campanile need to know their limitations on this. The other thing I didn't like about the hotel was the fact there was only one plug socket in the room which had the tv plugged in to it. I had to plug my laptop in so was unable to have tv whilst I used my laptop and vice versa......surely in this techno age a spare plug point to allow for charging items is not too much to ask.

Very nice as normal I was a late arrival. I tried calling the hotel 17 times from about 11.20pm. The answer machine kept telling me my call was important to them. However no one ever answered the call. I was hanging on for ages. Off course I was very worried that when I arrived would my room still be available. I arrived at 12.30am . the place was in darkness. Luckily there was a notice on the door with a phone number. And I was attended to , to my relief. I do use the campaniles all over europe . Over all great hotels. Just feel this could have been dealt with better. Regards Keith

Exactly what it says on the tin. A budget hotel, perfecly adequate, comfortable room, decent TV in room, buffet breakfast fine, friendly staff. No problems at all. Just the job for £35. Even a rabbit on my step on Saturday morning. Would certainly use again. Nothing- everything fine.
