Nice Hotel, friendly staff, clear room, a lot of free parking and good breakfast.
Problems with network all the time / Hotel is NOT friendly to smokers / NOT even a single chair for smokers. People like me with healthy moving problems have bad time when they like to smoke and they have to standing all the time. Very narrow beds.
Staff & Location
I found that the food menu could have been better
being so close to the Hydro Arena
one or two more towels in the bathroom
Location is right beside the hydro.
Cheap feel to the rooms despite a recent update
the staff were very friendly and helpful .the room was a little small but for us it was enough ,we will use the campanile again and i would it to friends
Closeness to The Hydro
The room was freezing
i have not slept in bunkbeds since i was four
ROOM LOCATION MEANT WE WERE BY MAIN ROAD LIGHTS, COULD DO WITH DARKER BLINDS
Warm welcome even when checking in late in the day. Always a good breakfast whether continental or cooked, and again welcoming staff even very early in the morning.
Being a city centre location the chance is always there of having a noisy road just below the window. If a concert was on at the venue next door I would imagine a fair bit of traffic at tipping out time. Not a huge problem and it certainly gets very much quieter in the small hours.
check out 12pm room was spotless and clean bed very comfy for me buy husband didn't sleep well as we are used to king and this was a double nice sofa very close to hydro/secc
very central location, warm friendly welcome, very good facilities including the car parking, loved the breakfast choice, other visitors friendly, very relaxing atmosphere. would revisit and also recommend to friends. thank you
Clean and comfortable and bonus to get free parking when attending a concert at SECC, Staff very pleasant and helpful in ordering taxi into town.
Breakfast for the amount charged should be included. Very average breakfast.
close to the venue and good for parking staff friendly and size of room for my son and me

Price Convenience to concert venues Clean Comfortable bed Friendly staff
Broken toilet seat Leaking sink
cost, hard beds, housekeeping walking in without knocking
Good for SECC and SSE hydro
Bed was too hard for me and paying extra for breakfast , so didn't have one as it was £8.99 each extra
Not far from a train station. Has a huge car park which gas barrier access. Right next to SECC and Hydro which is great.
Didn't seem to be enough staff to run the bar and the restaurant. With both the Armadillo and the Hydro holding shows it got very busy and service was slow
Perfect location for us for a night out at the Hydro. Free on-site parking in Glasgow is a real bonus.
Fabulous location for the SECC complex. Easy walk back with no need for queing to come out of carparks
Breakfast finishes quite early so missed that opportunity
Friendly staff, clean rooms, lovely food, all we could have asked for!
The location was good as was free parking. Staff were good and efficient.
Room was freezing and heater took all night to warm room - slept with socks and both duvets. Breakfast was dire - cold and meagre
room , bar
the food was terrible, breakfast no scambled eggs and evening meal the fish was tasteless and under cooked
Well run hotel
Excellent location for The Hydro. Enjoyed being able to walk out of the hotel and be on the waterfront in a couple of minutes. Staff very helpful.
It was quite cold in the restaurant at breakfast time.
