Friendly helpful staff
Reception Staff friendly and helpful. Clean, functional rooms
Long wait for food at breakfast time Only one member of staff behind the bar at a peak time (pre performance)
Super hotel as a base for a few days at the SECC for an event. Super staff, very helpful and accommodating with everything from extra pillows to ice and glasses in our room.
Family rooms are a great option especially when they allow 3 adults but there's not much room once the sofa bed is made up. However that's not really a problem when you're only using the room as a place to lay your head at the end of a long day! Breakfast should also include a lighter option of hot drink and toast for those who don't want a full continental. £6.00 seems a bit much for a cup of coffee and a slice of toast. Also find it odd they don't offer margarine?!
Staff very friendly. Location perfect, for concert halls.
Service in restaurant and bar slow.
Excellent breakfasts at reasonable price. Comfortable beds and good disabled facilities huge wet room bathroom. Staff were very friendly and helpful
Situated near to venues. Helpful waitress in Dining Room at breakfast.
No hand towels in bathroom. Apparently company policy. Not great for hygiene though.
Excellent location for the Hydro. Cheap and clean.
You could see the hotel from the Hydro, Good price and comfy bed.
Breakfast was not as good as the menu was stating, that was my only let down.
Next door to the Hydro.
The cooked breakfast was a bit cold.
It was clean and quiet.
Would've liked it to be closer to the train station.
Only a £5 taxi from central Station & city centre, Ok for what you pay.
Nothing, but with all hotels the beds are never as comfy as your own.
Prime location literally over the road from hydro. Taxi costs about 5 pound to central station or about 10-15 min walk. Rooms very comfy and clean
breakfast, although you have to pay extra for it. Free parking, location near trainstation to city centre.
It's a business hotel, not very personal. Bit expensive fot what you get.
Right by SSE Hydro Room clean and tidy
Could hear other guests Bit pricey for one night with no breakfast
The location was very convenient for the Clyde Auditorium and only a short taxi ride to the city centre. The rooms were spotlessly clean with daily maid service. The bar prices were very good value, although the bar tended to be busy with crowds leaving the Hydro
The breakfast was simply awful. The plates were stone cold, the food was barely warm and combined with the cold plates, inedible. We complained to the only person we could find, a trainee on the reception desk, but he was totally disinterested and did not even apologise. We had a lovely breakfast in Wetherspoons for less than half the price on our second morning.
The room was small but was clean, comfortable and cozy.
The food within the hotel (pre-theatre) menu was basic and not particularly enjoyable. £12.95 is not expensive but the quality of the food was poor. Previous night ate in the town for the same price and quality was far superior.
Super Comfy bed Welcoming hotel Disabled friendly Fairly quiet location Great location of Secc and Hydro Excellent bar staff Friendly atmosphere Superb wifi Reasonable rates Restaurant on site with fantastic offers I.e 3 course meal £14.95
My main disappointment was the Chef swearing rather loudly at a waitress who was filling in for someone sick and whom normally worked in a different department. This poor girl didn't need to be treated like that especially as she was doing you a favour!! No shower seat in disabled bathroom - had to sit on floor Very small towels - word of advice unless your a size zero midget - take your own! Coffee sachets are disgusting - take your own
Loved the location as we were eating at Rotunda and going to a show at the Hydro. Perfectly placed for this. Hotel was very busy which we like..
The Hotel was functional but a little bit lacking in comfort. The bar is a little basic, a bit like a holiday camp but the service was fast and friendly.
Location for SECC Bed was very comfy Room was clean Free wifi
Disabled room very good
Bathroom floor a little cold
Situation is directly at the SECC Arena for concerts
The staff were quite defensive in their dealings with customers. NOT the hotel's fault apparently was their refusal to honour the Booking.com promise of a discounted breakfast. According to them there is NO breakfast included (at all) and Booking.com have been repeatedly told this, but keep promising it to customers.
This hotel is so close to The Secc and the staff were very friendly.
Couldn't get the heating to work and the room was very cold for my elderly Mother.
Easy to get to, good parking and a friendly set of staff. Cheap and cheerful.
All was good
Great location for going to SSE Hydro.
Had to move room because first one had no electricity working. Second room had no shower curtain so water went all over the bathroom floor. However over priced for budget hotel but captive audience for location means they can get away with it.
Good location for the SSE Hydro
