Score from 372 reviews Good
Friendly, helpful staff. Carpark. Supermarket close by. Clean room.
Noisy at times. Dirty corridor although this is not hotel's fault, it is indicative of the type of people who frequent the place.
This is our 2nd stay at this hotel.Good value for money, situated not far from the main shops in Leicester. The reception staff were very polite and helpful ,gave us all the information required for for overnight stay
Full English breakfast was good
Stairwells a bit shabby and drab, but room was fine
Beds on wheels which move when you sit on them, Mattress not comfy, one flat pillow each ! one towel each !
Helpful staff helping to accommodate change of room. Adequate breakfast.
Loud traffic unable to sleep on first night.
Stayed at the hotel due to a lads night out and found everything excellent
Check in was speedy and efficient. Michelle explained everything we needed to know.
Shower had mould in it. Mattress felt like all the springs had gone in the middle. Breakfast was rubbish and tiny although supposed to be eat what you want, wasn't even asked what I wanted was jus given a plate with one sausage, 1 bacon, couple of eggs, a hash brown and the plate filled up with dry baked beans. Drinks were hugely overpriced. And the room card hardly ever worked.
The fact that there's no comfortable baby mattresses for the cots .cots were broken
Staff were amazing, very welcoming/ helpful and happy. Easy check in, easy check out. Good location for North side of City Centre - quick 5 mins walks into Clock Tower location. Clean bed. Comfortable mattress - bit too soft for me as me and my partner kept rolling into the middle of the mattress and sucking the other person in with us.
Room 301 was dirty - walls in shower were scummy and caked in orange/brown limescale erosion. I found blue pills on the bathroom floor when we first walked in. Sweet wrappers on the floor just under the bed.
Staff seemed friendly
Difficult to access if you don't know the location as no vehicular access from front of hotel.
The staff were polite and the car parking was great.
The rooms had webs and the carpets looked discoloured and dirty. Could feel the springs in the mattress. Room was on the main road side even though I had booked several weeks earlier. Changed rooms to get better sleep but the new room smelt of cigarette smoke so switched back. Overall disappointed.
Location, free parking and friendly staff
Maid came in before 9am on a Sunday morning and woke us up. Noisy location and street light shone through the ill fitting curtains. Not enough plug sockets or mirror to get ready in front of.
Clean and open, no fuss breakfast was ok. It was an ok experience for a cheaper hotel.
No mini bar, no good not even a sandwich, I arrived at 11 pm. No toiletries. Had to wait around to be seated at breakfast.
Food served until 9.45 pm. Friendly staff Good breakfast
Non smoking room but could smell smoke from other rooms in my room - possibly passing through via the bathroom.
Good location, god staff, great room good value for money v good breakfast
Free wifi and the food
First and foremost the welcome I received at reception. The staff were friendly and helpful, answering queries and their wi-fi and ordering taxis for me. The room was clean and comfortable with all I needed for my nights stay.
I think if I were staying longer, I might have liked a little more 'luxury' but not at the price I was paying.
The room was well kept. The front desk staff was very friendly. The location is very convenient to Highcross City Center. Great place to stay if you don't plan on sitting in your room all day...we spent most of the day out and about.
The cleaning staff was a bit pushy. The restaurant was sub-par. There is no room service, and to contact anyone at the front desk you have to walk up front.
Staff were great & very helpful. Location pretty good and good car park. However it was a good value stay and I would go back.
Bed was not good - like a water bed but not in a good way. Lift floor was filthy and corridors could do with a good clean & a lick of paint. TV was broken & could only be turned off by switching plug off. Bar closed too early.
value for money, location, car parking and staff. Booking ahead and getting breakfast included was a bonus.
the grouting in the shower (room 315) was very dirty, not a nice shower to be in, saying that though, I will use them again as everything else outweighs that one negative.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was good. Rooms very comfortable.
Good location. Within ten minutes to all amenities. Comfortable and clean. Good value for the money. I will be using the hotel again.
There isn't anything to criticize.
