Location and staff
Location, service and staff all excellent.
quiet, clean, comfortable room -good wi fi- good breakfast- convenient restaurant on site- easy parking in city centre location- very cheerful staff- excellent value for money
the rooms were good compfy bed, nice and clean ,staff very friendly in a central location,it was lovely and warm too cannot fault it really.parking was good parked right outside our room.
nothing enjoyed our stay and if we were to go to hull again we would stay again.
Aftre reading other reviews, I was a bit aprehensive, however I needn't have been. Yes, the rooms are dated, however spotlessly clean, warm and comfortable. Our party consisted of a toddler, parents and grandparents. There was a cot for the toddler, which was of a good standard, very clean and safe to use. Continental breakfast was perfect for all of us. I MUST mention the girl that attended to us throughout our stay. I didn't take her name, but she was lovely. Would not hesitate to go back....bonus is the parking on site too.
Only gripe I have is that we could feel the springs through the mattress, but still managed a comfortable nights sleep.
Cost mostly, but also the location. The breakfast was very good for the money.
I found the mattress a bit soft, however the lady wife thought it was fine.
Noisy guest in adjoining room but otherwise everything else was satisfactory.Staff very friendly and helpful.
Good car parking ....good staff....room as advertised
the receptionist Anna was very friendly and helpful.
it was too basic. no complementary toiletries, the room was exceptionally small, especially for a larger person. The bedding was spotless but the room itself looked as if it needed a face lift and the large hole above the shower definitely put me off using it.
Only one power point. Had to go out and buy multi point lead to charge phones and I-pods. It was a twin room with nowhere to store clothes for 2 people.
Nice friendly staff, very helpful. Location is very good for the city. Free wi-fi is great and reliable. Plenty of hot water and a good shower
My only complaint was the bed, when you laid on the bed I rolled to the middle, not the best of comfort
Basic but good for the money
Very dim lighting, not enough towels
Very convenient for Hull shopping and with free parking and wifi. Good on site restaurant.
Would benefit from a coat of paint on the room doors, look a bit shabby.Painted, they would look more attractive.
The girls on reception are really lovely and always make you feel welcome. The beds are very comfortable. The hotel is only 5 minutes walk from the shops and restaurants.
The rooms have only got one electrical socket and in some of the rooms there isn't a mirror close enough for straightening hair etc.
The hotel is within easy walking distance of town centre and there is free parking. The room was warm and clean. We ate tea in the bar, the food was basic but reasonably priced. Continental breakfast was ok, excellent pain au chocolate! Belinda was the only staff member we met but she was friendly and worked extremely hard!
The rooms are dated and in desperate need of a refurb. Bathroom tiles in particular need attention.
Friendly staff Convenient location Good price Nice breakfast
Rooms a bit mildewy
5 mins walk into town Quiet location in the inside block of rooms Clean, well kept and enough space for overnight stay. Plenty of parking
Rooms a bit dated
Great, warm and welcoming staff good location for the city shops and Theatre. Good onsite carparking
The price was ok for a one night stay. The room was clean but a little tired.
The location it was difficult to cross the road next to it, when walking into the city centre.
The cot for my daughter was excellent.
Breakfast was overpriced and the extractor fan broke on us so the staff were not able to cook for us.
Free wifi Helpful staff
Musty smell in room Loud main road location paper thin walls
Very comfortable bed and clean room and bathroom. Good facilities and restaurant. Casual, laid back. No frills. Reminded me of an American motel.
Only one plug socket in the room.
Location, Location, Location. Excellent bed. Good Continental Breakfast.
Not many restaurants nearby.
the lady who work at the reception on friday and saturday was excellent and outstanding, welcomimg
