The beds were very comfortable shower/toilet nice and clean, just a shame people do not consider that they have next door neighbours who might need to have a sleep!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Should have security at all times, our first night could not sleep for the noise of the traffic asked to be moved!! Second night neighbours at each side of us were shouting and screaming until 5am in the morning so another night without sleep.!!!! So as you can see we are not very happy, just wanted to get home!!!!!!.

The staff we saw were excellent, but we didn't take advantage of either the bar or restaurant, so only limited contact. We were unfortunate enough to be at the hotel when the fire alarm went berserk between 2 & 3 am - these things happen! Next day, when the housekeeping lady came, we just wanted toilet paper, and to be left alone, no point making the beds as we'd in them a lot of the day - she just got us some toilet roll and went away, for which we blessed her! We so wished the car park entrance was more obvious, and/or more emphasised in the instructions about the hotel, bearing in mind that the visitor is most often a stranger in a strange city.

The facilities were a bit too basic and faded for our taste. Insufficient provisions for drinks making, poor lighting some of which didnt work. It was clean and the staff were friendly but we would not choose to stay here again. The location close to the hospital meant a constant round of sirens on a saturday night.

The hot shower is Excellent Tonnes and tonnes of lovely hot shower water coming from a most wonderful shower head and bathroom sink tap ! Booking. Com is probably the Very Best in hotel reservations - I fully recommend it for no deposit, no penalty if you cancel before 6pm, clear , easy to use service ! Service was poor - attitude.but I forgive her. At least , she did make a good effort and got me a new bedsheet finally. Well done to her still for this.

The full English breakfast was excellent We thought that the hotel was in need of refurbishment. It is very old fashioned and furniture and furnishings are worn, the bedding was stained though clean. The washbasin was cracked and at best unhygienic, at worst potentially dangerous. The bathroom tiles were dirty with mould growing on them.

I thought this was a hidden gem, near to city centre if you wanted that, but an ideal stop over if travelling on. Although city based, quiet atmosphere. Continental breakfast very good value, without scrimping on the quality of the food.

They offer a good price in their rooms, so my husband and I were a bit suspected of the quality of service but we were surprised as our staying were excellent!!! The Hotel is excellent! The staff was very friendly and received us with a warm welcoming smile. The room and all areas in the hotel was very clean. Our room was quite and nice. The breakfast was delicious, they offer a great selection of fruits, cereal, yogurt, and english breakfast if you want. I strongly recommend Campanile Hotel Hull for all ocasions: businnes, travelling, holiday, etc...

Tha fact that it was in easy walking distance into Hull town centre, bus and train station. The hotel needs updating and rooms need painting, Food was appuling, and very expensive, very little choice. tv reception was bad and in room 112 no tv signal at all. Breakfast was very overpriced.

Location being on a junction, heard everything outside - ALL NIGHT. Everyones fire alarm went off in all the rooms at about 11.30. Yobs seem to congregate round the carpark as there appeared to be an "open bar". I will go to hull again, but will give this palce a wide berth.

Staff very friendly (including prompt attention on late arrival) and good breakfast. Disappointments: the quality of bedding - holes in sheets and quilt cover; towels - one badly stained, either not washed or should not have been reused; insufficient supply of coffee for couple. Generally, I have not found Campanile hotels in Britain (I have stayed in several) as good as French ones (I have stayed in many of these over the years).

The staff were very appologetic and helpful This is not a hotel it is a motel. The rooms are tiny, cold, the facilities meagre, the noise from traffic unbearable, the menu laughable. I wil never use this 'motel' again.

Charming, jolly lady on duty over New Year --dealing on her own with vandalism to a fire alarm [It rang 9 times between 2.20 and 8.15 ]. Very surprised "til we learnt in the morning that the girl had been on her own that there was no attempt to reassure theclients during the night when this was going on that there was no cause for alarm. Correct proceedure in the event of a real fire must be sorted out if a hotel is to comply with existing safety requirements.. Our second night was peaceful , but cold. See above
