Friendly, efficient staff, great location, plenty of free parking, comfortable bed, clean room, you can't ask for much more, can you?
No glass in the bathroom, not even one of those squeezy plastic cups.
All the staff ere excellent.
Very limited continental breakfast Very noisy location Asked for a quiet room, but received a noisy one.
Good value for money. Service very good
Everything from arrival to departure! From Housekeeping to Management all were superb in making our stay enjoyable..
room comfortable and clean
we arrived at 11-30am and found it hard to make someone hear us.then this woman came out of the back and she was quite abrupt saying we could not check in until 2-00pm we asked if we could leave our luggage and she said their was no were available, which was not very good as we had come by train, so we went out having to take luggage with us.when we checked out after our stay the lady then was very nice and helpful.
location very good, staff helpful, free on site parking
accommodation very basic but perfectly adequate
Good points: breakfast available at a reasonable price (and a good one at that); on-site restaurant for reasonable evening meals; complete blackout in the rooms. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
The road-facing rooms suffer from mild traffic noise. Only 1 mains plug (behind the TV)
Value for money
Sirens at night from ambulances as is on main crossroads
Room really warm. Decor dated needs to look brighter and cleaner
Too warm room
price of stella and breakfast too expensive (cooked)
Stay there regularly rooms are always clean tidy , service good
Friendly, inexpensive, convenient., car parking., good basic hot food
Lack of plugs, hairdryer
It wAs dirty couldnt sleep for noise from road and contracters partying all night till 4 in the morning will not be going back and i will be telling people not to go
Road noise made it hard to get a good nights sleep
Receptionist very friendly. Rooms have shutters so are proper blackout.
Very basic but you get what you pay for.
The location - close to shops, pubs and restaurants. Free car parking. Lovely comfortable bed.
No complaints at all.
Location - easy enough to find
Reception is one end of restaurant bar, which smelled of old cooking oil on arrival. Rooms basic, 2 small bath towels provided for 2 people, no hand towels. Full english breakfast a little meagre for the price. Cooked breakfast too greasy. Good selection of items in continental breakfast (although some items were prepacked - not fresh) The lady in the restaurant at breakfast time was very busy, cooking breakfast, serving tables, checking guests out etc, good job there were not many guests otherwise it may have took some time.
Bed comfy Balcony
Lots of hairs in the bath. Outdated rooms only 1 socket + tv light switch didn't work
Very clean and comfortable room.
Pleasant reception and restaurant area. Good location. Staff seemed pleasant and check in was efficient.
Terrible room, filthy carpet with horrible "stale feet" smell. Every thing felt old and worn, even though it had obviously been cleaned. Just one tiny bath towel provided. Not even a hand towel. Room hot and stuffy, but with the window open traffic noise too much to allow any sleep. Room shakes when a lorry passes! Urgently needs a refurb and rooms at front (facing road) need aircon to give any chance of sleep, given traffic noise with window open. It's a cheap(ish) hotel, but it's far from cheerful. Did not sleep at all and won't be returning to this hotel unless they attend to the numerous shortcomings - there are plenty more budget options in Hull. I feel sorry for the staff who are obviously doing their best with the poor resources at their disposal.
Cheap BUT beware Breakfast id EXTRA
Very dated hotel in need of an upgrade. Restaurant closed on a Saturday night!!!!!!!!!
