bedding was clean and towels were clean and ghanged during our stay No lift to upper floors. Very outdated but basically clean. Breakfast i was informed by a grumpy male receptionist was on a first come first served basis but i could not book it. Macdonalds was directly over the road and was nicer and cheaper. Rooms facing dock were far too humid even with the window open and there was no air conditioning. Would not stay there again.

ive stayed at the camponile for a number of years now. its always been a good choice for location - i love it near the mersey and the docks, and i watch the football ive noticed some changes within the camponile since my last stay, and its not for the better. ONE plug socket available! my son and i had a fone each, laptop and camera, so was really difficult to decide what to charge up. i realize the need for reducing the amount of electricity used, but my son and i are not greedy, in my opinion, and i cant see how business customers get on with just the one plug socket. ive also noticed other slipped standards, such as rude staff, food dire, ripped bed linen and definately not value for money. i wont be staying here again, and i wont recommend

It is very handy for the ferry and seems to have a good, secure car park. The breakfast, while a little expensive, was very good, with varied choice, and well cooked. Some of the décor needs attention.

It is in a very convenient situation close to the docks and near enough to walk to the city (about 20 mins). It has a free car park and is very good value for money. The rooms are fine with tea/coffee etc and soap and shampoo in the bathroom (more than you get in travelodges). Bed was comfortable and good lights to read in bed. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall very good value for money. Only down side (although not the fault of the Campanile) is that there was quite a lot of noise from inconsiderate people coming in late after enjoying a night out on the town!

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel room was very clean and modern. The location and taxi service was excellent. The general feeling around the hotel was relaxed and welcoming. The breakfast was a bit expensive (£17.50) for two cooked breakfast!! The cooked breakfast is advertised in the rooms as around £3 but is misleading as you have to take the contental breakfast & cooked. After returning from a night out it would have been nice to sit and unwind with a drink before going to bed, the bar was closed when we got in at 23:15pm.

It was in a adeal place for the Echo arena which is why we stayed there and would use again for that reason, but a bit far out for the town centre unless your young and fit. There is nothing to complain about with this hotel it's just a bit far to go into the town and back unless your fit and like walking

Friendly and helpful staff - especially a young lady called Kathy. The rooms were comfortable with a nice view of the river. The breakfasts were more than adequate with a wide choice. Car parking was convenient and there were always spaces. The hotel is near to the Albert Dock and the shopping centres. Everyone in the group ssed. I would have liked a choice of tea or coffee in the room as there were only sachets of instant coffee, More seating in the reception area would have been nice although it is only small.
