A mile (1.6 km) from junction 11 of the M56 and just over a mile (1.6 km) from Runcorn East Railway Station, the hotel offers comfortable, great-value rooms and free parking.
Score from 61 reviews Very good
Food and drinks available were great.
Listening to Radio 1 whilst eating evening meal. Mattress was very, very poor.
This was a return visit, and no doubt we will be back. Thanks.
no lift, no porter, no comfort no three pin plug sorry everything
Very comfy beds indeed !
Breakfast overpriced for what you have on offer
Near rail facilities. Quiet and peaceful.
Good menu did.not give options. I like variety in food.
Room comfortable and clean. Staff good and good choice of food.
Would have liked a bath mat in the bathroom without having to go to reception.
Very close to train station Friendly helpful staff Free wifi
No accessable plugs in the bedroom Mould in the bathroom Door did not feel locked
The price and proximity to Liverpool Airport
A little run down on the exterior, although rooms ok Ordered a bottle of house red to be told they only had one bottle that was already open!
Clean room bedding and towels nice and clean excellent also comfortable beds
Location and great shower
No plug on basin in bathroom so shaving was a challenge, taps barely reached into wash basin so filling it was immaterial regardless of plug!
friendly helpful staff and very comfortable bed.
clean and comfortable
Only one plug point so can't boil kettle and watch the tv or charge phones
Great location, right next to Runcorn station. Taxi only £15 to festival site. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Bar was well stocked and pretty cheap, perfect for pre session. Great showers.
Ideal location for train arrivals, less than a five minute walk from the platform, also easy access to bus services, WiFi speed is good
Very dark rooms, outdated decor, had to clean bath on initial arrival, hole in bathroom skirting, no warning about noise from John Lennon airports, many flights a night, although this is beyond their control, some kind of warning would have been nice, plugs far removed from bed, very inconvenient for charging phone/laptop etc. On arrival, staff were excellent, however were dire when trying to order food, on perhaps the second or third night of stay, had no idea what they were doing, took far too long and seemed to have run out of most things on the menu. In addition, when checking out, although the woman on reception was very helpful, their methods of accepting payment are bizarre, told that I had paid before hand but then that I hadn't and they'd only taken a "swipe" of the card, before then deciding that I had in fact paid. Utterly bizarre and not very reassuring
Price was lowest we could find.
Stairway smelt and was dirty. Poor lighting in room. Internet slow. Towels looked grey instead of white. Should have paid more and booked in somewhere else.
Easy access to rooms. Car was very close to our room so we were OK with that. Great TV, fantastic beds, excellent bathroom facilities, and great bunch of staff at our booing in to our booking out. Will defiantly stay again. Malcolm and Mary.
Location was good but a bit dated accomodation
The accomodation is a bit like an American Motel style on 3 floors with no lift. Food was awful in the restaurant, looked like a ready made microwave type meal. Dated room and poor wifi.
Good room for the night
The hotel seemed to me to need to be repainted. The breakfast was poor. There was only very thick bread for toast. The pain au chocolat was burned. I only got half a cup of drinking chocolate from the machine.
Good place to stay for an early flight. Easy & convenient.
Myles, the barman/ booking clerk, was very pleasant and helpful.
Location - in a siding off a main road Room - depressing Outside of motel - needs painting, although flower baskets tried to cheer it up
Ease of check in by helpful staff. Rooms basic but clean. Comfortable beds. Fairly quiet location. It is what it is, a clean comfortable budget hotel with polite helpful staff.
Nothing to dislike
The bed . Very clean and comfy
The outside look . Needs a bit if a face lift
Location Good staff Value for money
Like Paula said at least one more socket in each room needed.
