Easy access to rooms. Car was very close to our room so we were OK with that. Great TV, fantastic beds, excellent bathroom facilities, and great bunch of staff at our booing in to our booking out. Will defiantly stay again. Malcolm and Mary.
Good room for the night
The hotel seemed to me to need to be repainted. The breakfast was poor. There was only very thick bread for toast. The pain au chocolat was burned. I only got half a cup of drinking chocolate from the machine.
Good place to stay for an early flight. Easy & convenient.
Myles, the barman/ booking clerk, was very pleasant and helpful.
Location - in a siding off a main road Room - depressing Outside of motel - needs painting, although flower baskets tried to cheer it up
Ease of check in by helpful staff. Rooms basic but clean. Comfortable beds. Fairly quiet location. It is what it is, a clean comfortable budget hotel with polite helpful staff.
Nothing to dislike
The bed . Very clean and comfy
The outside look . Needs a bit if a face lift
Location Good staff Value for money
Like Paula said at least one more socket in each room needed.
Campanile hotels are good value comfortable and warm i would highly recomend them
We like staying at Runcorn as it is ideal to hop on a train to Liverpool. Also close enough when we visit relatives.
There have been a few times, in the rooms we have stayed in when. The light located were you dry you're hair or dryer not working. We have had to move a couple of times after being put in a room were there has been a leak in the bathroom. We were very lucky not to have slipped and hurt ourselves as the bathroom floor was soaking and, it came through into the bedroom by the beds.
We found everything we needed for a couple of nights stay, beds were comfy, breakfast was surprisingly nice and it was close by to the places we wanted to go for days out.
Not many power outlets in the room. Not many towels provided.
disturbed in middle of night by someone almost knocking next rooms door down. It's then you realise that as Motel no staff around during night.
Very helpful staff - all I required was readily available. Good value. Next to train station.
Surroundings a bit commercial looking but offset by convenience.
Staff not properly informed or trained. Room refreshment very poor with no advertised biscuits and only skimmed milk for drinks, Very hot day and room lacked any air con, reception also had no fans and did not attempt to get such or apologise.
Dated dirty in parts cig ends external.
good choice of menu, good choice of beverages. Great value for money
nothing specific light bulbs need checking
Value for money
Needs air con room far too hot
Room was hot and uncomfortable with poor facilities and very unattractive in appearance. The food was very basic and pricey for what it was.
On arrival the location was ideal
Room a bit on small side, entrance smelt like dampness and had to buy freshner to clear the air. The wall lights were not hanging correctly on wall as they were hanging by a screw through the lampshade health and safety would of loved this! On arrival walking through to reception the smell of the kitchen was overpowering.
Close to Station. Budget price. Staff very helpful
Food very basic for the price. Bed pushed against wall so difficult get out. Very noisy, next to staircase.
plenty of hot water
Only two towels, room smelly, bed sheets with holes, terrible television reception, bath slip mat only available from reception, no plastic cups in bathroom
The room was adequate and clean. The best part was breakfast time. Staff were friendly and helpful.
I got charged for an extra £65.00 for my stay - the booking was made on the basis of no cancellation fee if the booking was cancelled before 6 p.m. I paid in full for my room on arrival and have noticed it on my bank statement. Now it seems I have to contact my bank to cancel this and as a result I will be overdrawn on my account, I will incur bank charges.
Big comfy bed Near Runcorn station Clean Wi fi Food available in restaurant Free parking Cheap
Tired lookin! Needs a slap of paint and new carpet Mould on bathroom bath seal Not luxury
The hotel offered a low cost accommodation close to where I needed it to be. The proximity of the railway station was useful.
1: One of the lamps in the bathroom did not work. After several attempts to resolve this problem, I gave up. 2: An air con unit would have been useful as the nights were quite warm and opening the Windows would have allowed the road, railway and aircraft noise to disturb me.
