The apartments were very comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. Cannot book in until 2pm so after a 5 hour journey and timing our arrival we were annoyed to find the receptionist still at lunch and she didn't arrive back until 2.30.Not best impressed! Check out is 10am, the earliest check out time we have come across.

Location was good. 15 min walk to Princess St. Good restaurants in area, (Karen Unicorn) Budget style furniture, sofa in lounge area best in the dump! Banging doors that will keep you awake all night (no retaining devices to avoid this). Very noisy garage across road which, on the Sat night we stayed was full of happy clubbers heading home from 1am - 5am

We booked a two bedroom apartment thought there are only two of us so there was a plenty of space. The place was clean, kitchen was well equipped and though the building was showing some signs of old age, it was well maintenanced. Part of the building faces a busy road, but being on the 4th floor, the noise did not bother us much and it was very quiet most of the nights we were there. We particularly appreciated little things like the many warm-colured flower and scenery paintings in the rooms and a cut-glass fruit bowl. Those do add up and make you feel comfortable. There is an excellent supermarket and also a beautiful Botanic Garden just within walking distance. The dining chairs were awkward to sit because of their shape and soft cushioning which sunk is too much.

Comfortable and roomy one bed apartment with car parking at a very reasonable price, easy access to city centre in less thgan ten minutes by several bus routes (number eight bus stop is right outside the door!). Choice of restaurants within walking distance in the evenings. Fixtures and furnishings a bit dated and worn in places...bathroom had definitely seen better days, but for the price we paid, we weren't expecting anything deluxe!

The apartment was clean and the location was good, around 15-20 mins walk to the Royal Mile. The beds were comfortable but they are twin beds pushed together to make a double. The manner of the staff was not great. It felt like our checking in had disturbed her from something so we did not feel welcome. The water pressure was very low and also the water was cold despite it being an electric shower. The place is ok, the rates charged for new years eve in Edinburgh are extortionate and this was no exception. Charging for parking, towels, and room make up service, and credit card payments was akin to flying Ryan Air but having paid BA prices it was not expected

A lot of space, near the city centre. Water from shower only freezing cold or boiling hot. Check out time - 10am (too early); for one hour late check out you have to pay £10!

The staff were great, the actually apartment itself was fantastic. Will Definatly use it again. Parking was a bit prices. And I feel that the £200.00 deposite that is taken from you should be made clearly when booking.

Comfortable apartment within easy walking distance of Edinburgh's old and new towns. Had everything we needed to prepare our own meals. While the washing machine was handy it would have been handy to have a drying facility with respect to edinburgh's environment not beeing the best in which to dry clothes.

Traveling with my husband and 2 adult children. This was a great option for us, the apt was a good size but it's a 10 minute walk to new town & a 20 minute walk to old town. That said, it worked great for us and would definitely stay again.

Location is great. Made the city walkable and shopping of various kinds was immediately accessible. Value for money was exceptional. Receptionist Dierdre was super helpful, accommodating and friendly. Really a pleasure to deal with. Dark haired receptionist, South African judging by accent but I could be wrong was rude, aggressive and offensive. Perhaps she was having a bad day but every encounter with her was the same whether it was me or my partner. Definitely a relief when Dierdre was working. Walls/ceilings are thin so upstairs neighbors or noise in the hall sometimes could be annoying.

Cheaper than a travelodge or premier inn and considering that we cooked our own evening meal in the fully fitted kitchen before we went to the playhouse and enjoyed a full English breakfast (rather than having to eat out) - the room paid for it self. Check out on Sunday before 10:00 was too early.
