We had a lovely large, bright, airy room and the staff were very pleasant. The bathroom is badly needing updated. Thr shower is hopeless and the grouting on the tiles waa filthy. The noise from the hot water pipes was very loud and disturbing to other guests early in the morning. |

Cooked breakfasts superb. Beds comfortable. Easygoing informal atmosphere. Shower and toilet (across corridor). Shower difficult to adjust, taps on sink didn't work very well, toilet flush inadequate. Only thing that stopped our room getting top marks was the interconnecting doors - we could hear next door's TV! |

The staff were very pleasant, and the food was good. The bathroom needed updateing, and more attention need to cleaning. |

Good location, nice meals, excellent car parking with lots of room. Pleasant staff The booking system is paper based and I booked on line and received a confirmation. The computer is not manned all the time and a telephone booking taken later received preference. |

There is no doubt that the quality and inspiration of the menus was a delight. Unusual combinations of ingredients worked well together even though you may not have thought they would - a taste of the unusual! The hotel had a need for updating as it had a tired feel to it but this should not put you off from trying the food! |

The evening meal was very good in terms of quality of food and choice of menu. The young girl in the bar/dining room was very pleasant and helpful - she seemed to work incredibly long hours! The room was not up to modern day standards. There was no heating in the bathroom and only an electric heater in the bedroom. This was plugged into a four-gang extension lead which I am sure does not conform to health and safety standards. There were dead insects on the windows which had been there for some time as they were decomposing. |

Food and service were average. Had to ask for pillowcases for pillows. In the toilet the shower area was in a poor state with noisy plumbing when the toilet was flushed. |

What was described in your web page was not what we got. The room was described as a double bed were it was two single beds, we did ask for a discount and the owner blamed booking .com for the error, no discount forthcoming. Distance described from hotel to Inverness on web site was 10 minutes drive were in fact it was about 20-25 mins. Not impressed. |

The hotel was friendly and comfortable. Excellent for a two night break. The hotel is also used for private functions, can be a bit noisy, not overly so though. |

Excellent food, maybe a little too much Although fully booked we did not see another client untill breakfast the next day and then only one, also admittace to the 'local' bar seemed to be unwelcome, so went to bed early after dinner. |
