really enjoyed our stay. found the staff to be friendly, helpful and reapectful of our needs. our room was comfortable we had a double room with a sofa bed which gave us more room. the hotel was easy to locate and even though it was on a major highway the traffic noise was negligible. breakfast was good and an evening meal was available if needed. we would have no hesitation recommending this hotel.

Awful room-very cold. Old fashioned tv. One would expect modern flatscreen tvs nowadays. Useless shower curtain that flooded the bathroom after a shower. Bar menu pitiful. I would not stay here again

It had a good car park. Not too far from Canterbury. The food was good. There were no drawers to put clothes or personal items in.

The receptionist was very helpful and made us welcome. The newly refurbished room was excellent. At the hotel for breakfast the manager was efficient and welcoming. The continentel breakfast was good. For business visitors the price of the full breakfast may be fine. However for leisure visitors we think the price of a full breakfast for two adds too much to the overall bill for the night. .Next time we may go to an old fashioned town centre instead, for the same overall price, unless we are in a hurry on the motorway in which case we would come back here.

Main issue, room smelt of smoke despite being non-smoking room. Told by staff that we couldn't be moved to another room as none available. No actual apology offered.

Suitable for visiting relatives local to Canterbury area. Excellent value and choice of breakfast. Have stayed many times before and will do so again when visiting relatives in the area. Did have noisy family next door to our room with young children up and running around at 5.30 am but that was not the fault of the hotel.

We liked that we were asked where we wanted our room (ground floor etc), liked good provision of everything a traveller needs eg; bathroom products and clear signage. Breakfast was lovely with a good range of teas etc and delicious croissant. Also picked up a sunday paper and plenty of time to check out. We both hurt our fingers opening and closing bathroom door not realising that it shut the toilet off completely....ouch!!

Proximity to Herne Bay If you are on the ground floor then yu can hear everything that goes on upstairs. Banging all the time even when someone is just walking in the corridor. Also staff a little slow at the restaurant and bar.

This was fairly near to where we were visiting our daughter and family. The staff and self service breakfast were very good, staff replenishing food constantly if it was getting low. We were very impressed, particularly with the excellent shower and will definitely use you again. Thanks.
