Everything simple, pleasant and informal. Cleanliness of the room and hotel was superb. Free internet was a good extra. Possibly it's due to our age, but the mattress was far too soft for comfort. This is an observation only, not a complaint. |

Ideal for our requirements with easy access to Canterbury. Very close to the A2 but our room was surprisingly quiet. Basic food availabe and no fuss, self service, early breakfast allowed us to plan our departure easily. |

A basic hotel conveinient for a short stay or stopover. Facilities were basic but of a good standard. Good value for money with a good breakfast. The room was comfortable and clean. Having free Internet was also a great help. The restaurant/bar could have better lighting and furniture to create a more pleasent and relaxed atmosphere. |

Room design and maintenance is very efficient and manages to offer all the important basics in a go. Holiday Inn ...Express has it right in this formula. We appreciated the friendely hotel Staff. Please improve the location recognition along the A2 dual carriage way. Access is only available from one direction. A mention of this peculiarity on your site info would be welcome indeed. Small detail, lots of croissants for a continental breakfast but they were not fully baked. |

Nothing fancy but good value. Rooms could be better, a bit worn - and cleaner - nasty stain on bed spread. Bar needs to stay open later but friendly loyal staff. |

We were pleased with the cleanliness of the room. The evening meal and breakfast were very reasonable. The reason for our visit was to visit our daughter at Kent University and this was an ideal place to stay, as we were only 5 mins away. Would certainly stay again! All in all good value for the price. |

I used the Holiday Express for a weekend break with my boyfriend and found it to be a very clean, relaxing room with all the facilities we needed. The staff were polite and friendly. Initially we worried about the location but it was easily accessible by car and when we had a drink in Canterbury the taxi was affordable and efficient. Thank you all very much! |

The room was furnished well, room facilities ok. Bus very noisy. Proximity to a petrol station. The breakfast (room) was well below standard. Too far from the city. |
