Great as a one or two night stopover. Not a holiday destination.

Rooms were clean and good value for money The breakfast was awful. My colleague found bits of something black in her scrambled egg, the bread for toast was stale, the beans were cold and solid. I cannot believe the hotel find it acceptable to serve it to customers. If you can't do an adequate cooked breakfast, then just offer continental.

No mobile phone reception at all in my room. Alternative was £1.50 per minute from phone in room, these charges are not acceptable. Most people have mobile phones and expect to be able to use them when travelling.

Staff were very friendly and efficient. Rooms were basis but clean and had everything you needed for a short stay. Breakfast was included, which was reasonable. Very good budget hotel for a short stay. Little nosy with window open as right on the motorway.

Clean looking decor and bedding Coffee at breakfast rude staff, extremely uncomfortable beds and wafer thin duvet. Only cheap sausages, scrambled eggs and mushy baked beans for hot breakfast.

An excellent hotel, rooms were very good and the breakfast was brilliant for the price of the hotel. Would definitely use Holiday Inn Expresses again Better signage from the main road would be ideal. Although there is a sign to show a garage and a hotel, a sign to show it is the Holiday Inn Express would be useful. Otherwise nothing to complain about

Friendly staff and very efficient - nothing was too much trouble. Room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Not all the lights worked in one of our rooms. The breakfast could have included bacon.

Being given the wrong room and asked to move to another room 10 mins after we got there with one foot in the shower. We then had to get dressed, pack up our stuff, go to reception, only to be told a solution had been found! And we were in a hurry to shower and go out. Getting a disabled room - very uncomfortable for an able-bodied person

Exceptionally clean room. Wifi freely available. Complementary breakfast. Excellent receptionists. Asian food excellent. Table service first evening exceptional-no delays. The bathroom door- jammed my hand three times because of awkward proximity to shower. Second evening meal- slow service by small blond waitress tho' very few eating that saturday evening. The lasagne was bland and not tasty also.

A nice clean room, with friendly staff. Easy to miss coming from London end of dual carriageway (which I did ) as the garage blocked my view of the hotel.

Well equipped room, friendly staff. Situated right beside the highway and beside a petrol-station. Very little signs at the road, so we missed the exit first and had to turn at the next exit, drove back passing the hotel again, turned again and found it at least. Bad accessible, also from the next town center (Canterbury).

Once found it was a pleasant hotel, nicely decorated and furnished. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The facilities were good and suited the needs that we had for the few days we stayed there. The chaos at Breakfast time. When there are large parties in having breakfast at the same time as the other guests, with a very restricted area for selecting the food, doing toast, and self-service of cereals, cooked items, drinks etc it got very crowded. The younger members of those parties all wanted to sit together so were pulling tables together and moving chairs so that they could all be together. thios causes congestion in the aisles, and when they do not clear up at the end the staff to be resorting the tables etc for other guests whilst the food is becoming sparse. Could coach parties and/or large groups have a different time for breakfast or a seperate room and service.

Comfort of the Hotel Staff were very good Location. The hotel is a fair distance outside of Canterbury and costs £10 each way by taxi into Canterbury (with the discount from the taxi firm). I didn't appreciate that the hotel is actually part of a services on the a2 dual carriageway. Wifi connection in the hotel and around the whole of Canterbury isn't great.

Rooms. Well equipped, comfortable and tastefully decorated Breakfast very disappointing. Hot aspects of it were sadly lacking. All that was on offer were thin tastless sausages-not at all typically British, baked beans and scrambled egg. No bacon, mushrooms, fried egg etc. If this is what passes as Breakfast for Holiday Inn I will be staying elsewhere. Doesnt hold a candle to Premier Inn breakfasts.
