On the cliff tops of the northwest Cornish Coast, with sea views, Cape Cornwall Golf & Leisure Resort features a scenic golf course, a Bistro restaurant and a leisure center. Rooms are cozy, rustic, and simply furnished. Each room include a private bathroom and TV. Many rooms have sea views and free Wi-Fi is available in the bar and lounge area. The on-site Bistro restaurant serves fresh local seafood and traditional Cornish cream teas. It offers evening meals, light lunches, snacks and beverages throughout the year. Cape Cornwall has an 18-hole golf course, featuring ancient mine shafts and views from the rugged cliff tops. The resort also offers recreational facilities including a heated indoor pool, gym, sauna, and spa bathtub. Just a 10 minute drive from Land’s End, Cape Cornwall Hotel is just 15 minutes from lively Penzance. Cornwall’s pretty coves and beaches are within a 10 minute drive, and St Ives can be reached in 15 minutes. Many pretty coves and beaches are within a 10 minute drive. The Italian Feast was excellent quality and value. The location of the resort was incredible and the perfect get away. Rooms/facilities were basic but clean. The reception of the hotel was the most appealing giving a 'front room' cosy feeling with sofas. The young employed staff were pleasant and helpful. One thing ruined our stay - the owner (Terry). On our arrival there was no polite, welcoming conversation from him as you would expect from the 'proprietor'. We were made to feel as though we should leave when having a late drink having returned from an evening meal. He has let down all of his other staff by being so rude to paying guests. He is the reason we would not return to the hotel again and we recommend via Booking.com that he changes his attitude towards the people keeping him in business. I would recommend the hotel has a facelift and change of management, Terry would be better suited not dealing with the public if he cannot be bothered to speak to guests.

Breakfast was good.............. The hotel's only saving grace! Very basic and dated accommodation. Hugely disappointed that the spa facilities were unavailable as there was no mention of any refurb when we booked or prior to our arrival.

The location (directly overlooking Capa Cornwall) was beautiful. The rooms were really tiny. And the staff was not really friendly to us - perhaps because we didn't play golf? I had the impression to be in a golf club - and not in a hotel.

The hotel offer the best breakfast I ever had living 7 years in the uk. 5 stars for it! Staffs are nice and friendly. Everything is up to standard. The room however is a bit cold and small. Bathroom is very good though, enjoyable and relaxing bath to have.

Very good to use as a base for visiting Land's End Because of the age of the hotel (19 century) the sloping ceiling in our room was low with the result that I hit my head on a beam under the ceiling near the outside wall. No damage done to me or the ceiling.

The scenery was breath taking when there was no mist The rooms were of a poor standard, you could hear everything from the other rooms, the rug was saturated next to the bed, the bathroom wasn't of a hotel standard. For £75 my expectations were alot higher, I would have been happier paying £40. This isn't a 'hotel' but more like a basic b&B. The name is deceptive.

The bar staff were pleasant and polite and helpful. Wi fi reception in bar lounge was good but lounge was only accessible via the external stairs which were inadequately illuminated at night. I would strongly suggest carrying out a risk assessment prior to leaving your room for a drink, meal or to get Wi-fi reception, depending on prevailing weather conditions. The best easily accessible (by car) views of Cape Cornwall can be seen from the free serviced NT car park a short drive away. Suggested visits to Trengwainton Gardens, St Michaels Mount, Marazion (try the Phips Cornish Pasties, must be eaten seated on one of the terraces overlooking St MiMo-magic), Penzance, , Minack Theatre, Sennen Cove, Lands End(clean and tidy with excellent facilities), Godolphin (being restored now) Falmouth, Pendennis Castle, Cornish Mines/Technology. Dined in on the first night, Commercial Hotel & Wellington in St Just subsequently. Free car parking available in St Just giving level access to many accessible town centre facilities When I booked this ‘hotel’ in December 2010 for our mid June holiday I advised:- ‘I am blue badge disabled but mobile. If possible could I have a room near reception/swimming pool and if on an upper floor near the lift entrance it would be most appreciated thank you’ There are no rooms near reception, no ground floor rooms and no lift, our room was accessed from reception via a rough shale path, two steep uncovered slippery wooden external stairs and a discontinuous roof between them. I had booked this place primarily because it advertised a swimming pool, jacuzzi etc. Had we been advised of the long term non availability (to mid July)of these and the access difficulties before arrival I would have booked elsewhere. We paid a premium cancellable price for this hotel in good faith based on website information. The reception/golf shop was combined with the bar, lounge, & dining room. Our room was cramped, with a large black damp mould patch on our bedroom wall and the windowsill flooded after a rainstorm. The blinds were faulty. The main view from our low level window was of a scrapyard immediately below it and of another adjacent property. Our towels were not changed during our three night stay, even after we left them in the bath after the second night, they were just rehung. Also of concern was upon arrival we asked for our special delivery package containing critical medication but we were told they were unaware of any, fortunately we insisted and they eventually found the signed for package under the counter. Accommodation here appeared a sideline, secondary to golf club membership.

The breakfast was fabulous ! The rooms are very small and the walls between rooms are paper thin. I could hear the man in next room snoring and could clearly hear conversation even though they were speaking normally.

Sehr freundliches hilfsbereites Personal.
