The comfort of the room and luxury of the bathroom
Breakfast is not included No Lobby area
Location is perfect, staff is friendly and helpful, housekeepers are doing a good job
There's no lobby and the kitchen closes early. That is not reasonable for a hotel that is classified as a 5 star one! Also, the room key is very big to carry so every time I go out I have to hand it to the concierge and ask for it when I come back! That was a headache!
All the staff were gentle and kind! Lovely doorman, classic furnitures and the view around the hotel make traditional British atmosphere of this hotel. I stayed at single room but it has enough space and queen size bed was also nice. It doesn't take more than 3 minutes to get to Knightsbridge St on foot. Its good access to visit popular tourist attractions by tube was helpful for me to travel only in short term. I definitely will choose to stay at the Capital again!
Staff always very warm and welcoming - love this hotel
location plus car parking friendliness of staff
the location of the hotel and the staff were very nice
the queen room size was very squeezed
The ambiance, food and location.
The staff are a delight, extremely polite, helpful and friendly. The Bar is very welcoming & the snacks are very good as is the dining room. All excellent
Our single beds were not that comfortable, hard, & the pillows had very little filling. We found that having the heater on all the time in the bathroom was very stifling although handy for drying smalls. One had to be careful whilst using the lavatory that you didn`t burn yourself. Unfortunately there is not enough room. After all that, I hope that I have another trip in 2 or 3 years time & will gladly stay again at The Capital. One more thing I want to mention is to have the toast at breakfast put in a toast rack where it cools maintaining it`s crispness. Laying it down on a napkin softens it very quickly & becomes soggy. Very easy to fix. Thank you ElizabethHowcroft
