The Capital  

The hotel is lovely, but what really made it stand out was the service. What ever we needed, they attended to within fewer than 5 minutes. A bedside lamp light bulb, an iron and ironing board, a pillow .. what ever it was. The concierge got us excellent tickets to two popular musicals. The entire staff knew our names, anticipated our need for taxis to the theatre and made all the arrangements for us. The location is perfect for shopping and the underground.

very tiny rooms, you have to order an iron then they will take it back. wooden floors that produses noise when you walk old bilding if you want location this is the place.

Location, location, location. Perfect for those who love shopping. You almost live in Harrods!!! :) Hyde Park, Victoria and Albert Museum and nice restaurants such as Sale y Pepe (Italian) are all within few minutes walk.

Stayed in the executive single room. Very small with old decoration. Housekeeping noise made it impossible to sleep every morning even i warned them each time. So the main purpose of my holiday is totally spoiled.

The location was excellent for my requirement, which was the main priority for me and whilst in the heart of Knightsbridge, no problems with noise at all during our 4 night stay. Staff are courteous and mostly efficient.

No tea/coffee making facility in the room and no mineral water provided in the room. Disappointing for a "luxury" hotel. After we asked for water an ice bucket of mineral water bottles was placed by the main entrance daily. One usable electrical socket in our Executive double room, which was barely close enough to the mirror on the wardrobe door for my partner to use the hairdryer. There was no socket near the dressing table/desk. The hotel is part of the Small Luxury Hotels chain but having to squeeze sideways between a chair and the bed to get into bed is a bit too small. I spend a lot of time in 5* hotels worldwide and this room did not meet the standard of luxury in my opinion.

My wife and I chose the Capital Hotel for this four night stay because we had stayed there on a previous visit. Centrally located. Close to Harrods for shopping . Pleasant staff. Very comfortable accommodations. convenient dining facility with excellent menu.

Aucune chaine tv en francais. Pas de lecteur de cd ni de dvd.

Location is extremely nice. 30 second on foot to Harrods. Staffs are very friendly. Room size would be common in Europe. You can enjoy afternoon tea in the room.

There is not a tea/coffee server in the room. Shower head is fixed on the wall (In case which takes a bath with a baby is inconvenient).
