Warm welcome from our hosts. The breakfast was lovely and at a time to suit ourselves. The room was clean and a good size. Fresh milk was supplied for tea and coffee. We only stopped the one night but we had a comfortable stay. Would recommend.
really lovely couple running the b&b nothing to much trouble, left a note on the website that i was gluten & dairy intolerant, and she had sausages bread and soya milk and spread for me, nothing was to much trouble for them. lovely location, central for sumerset coast, taunton just up the road. lovely location quite and peaceful. cosy room with all you need. and fresh eggs too. many thanks to them both for a nice stay, will be back next year for a few days.
no lock on room door on outside if you go out, which could have been a problem if the b&b was more busier.
We met our friends at Capland Farm for an overnight stay before moving on to our holiday location in Devon. It's a lovely location not far from the A303 if you want to break your journey to the West Country. The rooms are clean and pleasant and the B&B is run by a lovely couple, Liz and Ian who made us very welcome
Couldn't find any fault and nothing we didn't like.
the location was beautiful as was the building itself and the room, big and space with good light and views, breakfast was fantastic. A very friendly place to stay. I would recommend it to anyone.
We so enjoyed the thoughtfulness and kindness of our hosts. Nothing was too much trouble and the breakfasts were wonderful, especially for someone like me who wouldn't usually go for cooked breakfast.
Friendly and helpful owners. Lovely breakfast with new laid eggs, I bought some to take home and they tasted just as good next day. They decor needs updating but the owners said they were only able to rent, so would be unwise to spend much money in case they were not able to buy later.
Great location just off the A358 south of Taunton. My wife and I where touring the west country and where so pleased to stop over night a Capland farm. Great off road parking with an option of using a secure out building if you want to keep your motorbike dry on a wet day. Laundry and drying facilities available essential for wet gear (for a small fee). Liz and Ian gave us a lovely warm reception and made us feel very welcome in there home. The room was a large en suite with toilet & shower size of room was handy for storing motorbike panniers and motorbike clothing. A good choice at breakfast would highly recommend liz's cooked breakfast. Highlight was meeting resident dog (Dodger) had great fun playing in the garden.
The owners were very friendly and welcoming, the bedrooms with ensuite facilities were spacious and comfortable, it was like staying with friends!
Owner was very nice and helpful.
No locks on bedroom door, other people can possibly access your property whilst you are out.
Everything was excellent
Friendly, tranquil place
Lovely place and the host was very helpful and personable. Would recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable lovely place to stay
It was home from home comfort, very relaxed atmosphere and attentive to our needs.
Nice house in a pleasant location
Mattress had probably passed its best
The couple running Capland were very hospital. Breakfast was excellent. Bed was comfy. Didn't sleep to well still on a high we had just seen Rod Stewart. Would recommend to friends and family.
Can't think of anything.
Very welcoming, peaceful and a comfortable bed.
Use of the garden where we ate a meal we had brought in. Hosts welcoming & lovely view from the bedroom.
The very relaxed atmosphere and very friendly owners. The breakfast was excellent, and the house had a very warm homely feel.
Silent place, feeding chickens, great breakfast with fresh eggs.
Good Parking, nice breakfast, friendly staff, slept well. Will book again if we come back to the area.
TV was small for the size of room.
We liked every thing about this holiday the staff were really nice and friendly and the food was excellant. we also liked attention to detail for example fresh milk
We had a very friendly welcome and found Liz to be a very pleasant and chatty lady. The breakfast was excellent and we enjoyed a visit to the hens who had produced such delicious eggs. We recommend buying some to take home. The farm also does cream teas and we think it would be well worth a short detour off the M5 to get a cream tea rather than the service station fast food. The building itself is very quaint and interesting with plenty of period features.
There was nothing we disliked.
Yummy breakfast and good view from the window
Nearest pub is no longer open, and it was odd to have to walk through owners back door and kitchen to get to main B&B.
very friendly staff lovely location clean home from home
Good location and very welcoming hosts
