Large room, comfortable bed and excellent breakfast.
Beautiful room although not really for the solo business traveller. Food is OK but nothing special.
The location and surrounding area not good
Room was lovely - very nicely decorated. & also very clean
Breakfast times rather early, finished serving at 9am on a Saturday! Also no fruit at breakfast nor a menu.
Bruno and Allison headed up a very friendly team. Delicious meal if a tad on the large side - none of us could manage a dessert!! Both of the rooms we booked were very comfy and décor very tasteful.
Can't think of anything that we didn't like :)
Great room couldn't fault anything very friendly staff and will definetly be back
Bedroom furnishings were high quality, bed itself was very comfortable, the atmosphere of the room was very calming. We loved the old beams!
Room lovely, overlooking church. Restaurant downstairs food delicious Italian with fun atmosphere. Location excellent for Ferrara experience and shopping! Thank you
The location to the town was fine. The bedroom was unique, clean & comfortable. The staff were very pleasant & helpful. The room rate was good but because of the things we did not like it is hard to recommend to other travellers, it may not bother other people but it did spoil our stay.
Our stay was scheduled for Friday, Saturday & Sunday nights. Noise from the restaurant below, people waiting for taxi's on departure at the end of the evening dining & the passing people from the pubs nearby was the biggest let down. It was after 2:30am before we were able to get off to sleep. Toilet for the downstairs restaurant was on the same landing as the entrance to the rooms. A code lock on the door to the passage to the sleeping accommodation would give more security. Because of the above, we sadly checked out after one night of our 3 night stay as we did not want another interrupted night with very little sleep.
It was in a fabulous location ie very central, the staff were wonderful and very helpful and friendly.
I thought it overpriced for what it was, the room was small with an en suite and overlooking a main noisy road.
Staff were very attentive & helpful in meeting our special needs. Glad we used the restaurant, food excellent, will stay here again.
restaurant, location, service - all the staff were helpful. coffee in the morning was best I can remember for a long time
Had the best nights sleep, spacious bedroom
Too early check out so didn't make breakfast
Loved the Beaumont suite we stayed in and the staff were so friendly and happy to help with anything. The food was lovely too.
The only problem was that our room was quite warm and we couldn't open the window as it was street facing.
A very friendly welcome from Mr Caravelli. Our room was beautiful and huge. It is very close to town centre. Very comfortable stay and breakfast was really good.
It was lovely to get a personal response from the hotel to the booking over a week before our planned stay, taking care of things like car parking, whether we wanted to eat in the restaurant, etc. We were shown to our room, rather than receiving the impersonal "up-the-stairs-third-on-right" which so often occurs nowadays: we were given privacy to provide personal details for booking in, rather than in the busy reception area; and we were asked when we would like breakfast, rather than the ubiquitous "it's served from 7.30 till 9.00". The bedroom we had was wonderfully set out; rich colours on the wall and exposed ceiling and wall beams, and curtains around the four-poster bed, reminiscent of a medieval honeymoon suite with free-standing bath with a privacy screen around it. Although we did not eat at the restaurant, it was full of enthusiastic local diners - always a good indication of popularity and good value. Breakfast was very good, cooked to order. It was wonderful.
Even on a warm British night, the central heating was on in the corridors, and two radiators in the room had faulty thermostatic valves, meaning we could not turn it off, so the room was too warm.
Exceptionally clean and spacious room. Wonderful evening meal and breakfast. Great hospitality.
Nothing not to like
Totally unexpected luxury accommodation in Loughborough. Rooms were excellent, staff and owners are great, meals are superb.
Room was clean, bed was comfortable.
Stairway carpet was marked and smell was bad. Dinner in restaurant - for an italian the pasta was very average and garlic bread soggy.
Very noisey as could hear snoring all night in the room adjoining and a lot if outside noise from bars/pubs
Convenient location for purpose of our visit. Comfortable well-appointed room. Pleasant breakfast staff but did not meet owners.
No fresh fruit available with breakfast buffet. Has been provided at far less expensive B&Bs where we have stayed.
Staff very helpful. Despite town location it has parking. Breakfast excellent (as you would expect of a restaurant). Room very clean and comfortable. En suite superb.
Wifi needs a booster but it did work in the bathroom.
Breakfast good but could have offered a meat free alternative at breakfast e.g. smoked fish or veggie alternative.
The staff were very friendly and accomodating. The restaurant was excellent.
Bedroom walls were very thin. Very noisy next door . Kept me awake to early hours of morning.
The room was great lovely features and very spacious.
