Friendly, helpful staff. Beautiful, spacious room. Excellent food and service in the restaurant.

Room was excellent very clean and comfortable with the old characteristics of open fire four poster and roll topped bath! Restaraunt was 1st class food excellent and service second to none giving excellent value for money and equally as good as any 5* restaraunt! Definately recommend staying here. Cheers

The staff were wonderful, the room excellent and the food good. I was made to feel welcome from the moment I arrived.

Parking is very much restricted to a few cars, but I did not have a problem as I always managed to park.

Slightl awkward check in where you need to phone to arrange access between 3 and 6pm. We sat outside in the car for an hour not really sure if we would be disturbing anyone if we called. Just felt a bit awkward

Fab quirky room. At first wondered were we were going as stairs quite narrow and off the back of the resturauant, but every thing else made up for it! Really, really try this place. The food is superb, especially the lemon cheese cake. Would def reccomend!!! One of the best places we have stayed.

The owner and the staff were welcoming,very friendly and helpful with any request. Nice restaurant. Our deluxe room was spacious and awesome, with a beautiful décor which gives a home character, big comfortable bed, clean, fresh linen, and a stone fireplace. We had a very pleasant and relaxing stay in Caravelli hotel.

Would prefer more choices of a healthier and low-cholesterol - breakfast, but that was not a problem though. I asked for an apple and a yoghourt and the staff was very willing to satisfy my request.

I loved the deluxe room with its oak beams and massive stone fireplace not forgetting the large flat screen tv. The view of the parish church was magnificent. Also good teabags and real milk.

Loughborough as a town, seems a little tired and in parts not what you call attractive. To balance this, the area around the parish church is nice and there are plenty of shops.

Beautiful, large and comfortable rooms. Very friendly service. Lovely restaurant with good, but reasonably priced food in a smart but relaxed environment.

Room was very spacious and tastefully decorated,staff were nice and friendly,Food in restaurant was very good the only downside was we only stayed for one night and we didn't want to leave!! Will return in future.

There was a problem with a noisy heating radiator on our first night (of 4) which we brought to the attention of the owners. They took our concern seriously and handled it in an exemplary fashion. Before the problem was solved, they offered to move us into another room or hotel, which turned out not to be necessary.In chain hotels these days such service is very rare. Comfortable beds with lots of pillows and extra blankets. Flori, (sp?) who served breakfast and did the rooms, was great. Competent too.

Tough to get in and out of the parking area at the back! And trying to navigate the one way streets.

Great room, restaurant and location!

A beautiful old building, the rooms reflected the timber framed structure with comfortable furniture and lots of character. It was great to have a wonderful Italian restaurant attached to the hotel with fantastic friendly staff.

It would be helpful if there were some signs showing where to go to check in.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. I was emailed before our visit with information about checking in, parking and the restaurant which was very useful and appreciated. It allowed me to plan my journey and trip well. The room, apart from the bath in it was lovely and very relaxing to be in. The dinner in the italian restaurant was excellent - really delicious and it had a good atmosphere. The breakfast was good and very pleasant.

Breakfast finished at 9.00am - For a weekend break it would have been good to have a slightly later option. Bath is bedroom not in a separate ensuite.
