The hotel is situated above the 25 acres of golden sands of Carbis Bay Beach, part of the larger St Ives Bay. It is one of only 2 bays in the United Kingdom to qualify as a member of the exclusive, internationally recognised Most Beautiful Bays in the World organisation.

All meeting rooms benefit from the peaceful surroundings and ample parking facilities which help your day run as smoothly as possible.

The pool and sun terrace nestle in the hotel’s tropical garden and are ideal for relaxing or whiling away long summer days - perhaps taking morning coffee after a gentle stroll or enjoy a special Cornish cream tea.

You can also relax in one of the gracious lounges, rise to the challenge of the basement games room and enjoy a game of snooker, or be entertained by an evening's Cabaret (high season only).

Food & beverage

The hotel’s exquisite, AA Rosette restaurant focuses on the finest Cornish produce available, working with growers and producers directly. With fresh local fish and shell fish bought daily from St Ives day boats, it can guarantee fresh ingredients.

Choose from the extensive international wine cellar to compliment your meal, we have a wine to suit every palate.

The chef welcomes vegetarians and caters for all special dietary requirements.

As a family-run hotel, children are well looked after and the hotel is true to are family values. Therefore, they provide a fun and healthy menu along with flexible eating times. As a guide, children's meals are normally served between 17:00 – 18:00 by the friendly staff.

The dress code is smart (no jeans, t-shirts, shorts or trainers please).

The Conservatory:
Relax in this unrivalled panoramic setting, with views stretching across the golden sands of Carbis Bay to Godrevy Lighthouse. The Conservatory is open all day and is the place to meet for morning coffee, light lunches, afternoon tea and evening tapas. Locally, it is known for its superb lunches, homemade desserts, freshly ground coffee and biscuits.

Families are welcome – a children's menu is always available. Enjoy the sun terrace and decking area where you can watch the sand and sea constantly changing.

The elegant bar area serves an extensive range of cocktails, fine cognacs and champagnes. The bar menu is available daily between 12:00 and 15:30, serving a wide selection. Sample the homemade Victoria sponge with strawberries and cream or, alternatively, choose a traditional Cornish cream tea while you sit and gaze at the sparkling, blue waves of the Atlantic Ocean.

Located in the main building, every room at the Carbis Bay Hotel has been designed to promote exceptional standards of comfort.

Only stayed one night and didn't see any other young couples, maybe this added to the relaxed atmosphere - we weren't there to get drunk. Wished the car park surface was smoother - walking back from the beach in bare feet wasn't nice - although you can enter the hotel through the main conservatory if you're not dripping wet and sandy. Barman seemed to frown every time we ordered a pot of tea, however when it did arrive (always with complimentary chocs or biscuits) it was very nice.	8
